Bueller?

Anyone out there willing to volunteer to be a beta? The rule is that we don't provide a beta, but instead let people know why their fic was rejected, but I thought it would be a nice thing to do for a struggling author to have a couple of names that could be pointed to as a starting place for where they could look for one. Comment here or send me mail or IM or skywrite over my house or whatever to let me know your thoughts/opinions/etc.

I'd be happy to help would-be authors with their fics! Send 'em my way.

Hey, I'd love to help beta stuff. I know no one knows me, but I am good with grammar and that sort of thing, so, yeah. Thanks!

Yeah, cool, anyone needing a beta talk to me, I'd love to read the best stories first!

I am fairly new to writing fanfic, and I know I could use a beta reader. How could I get in touch with one of you? Thanks!

Look them up on the 'authors' page, and there's an option for 'contact' which will send them an email. ClanMalfoy has also offered her services as a beta, if I recall correctly.

I can beta. I have a degree in English, which is currently wasting away. Someone might as well get some use out of it ;)

I would love to beta for someone.

It might be cool if a separate page could be available that shows the names of people who are available for betaing, maybe? Just as a quick reference for people looking for a beta. A list of several betas, accessible from the main page, right at your fingertips! Like The Babysitters Club, in a way.

I know I am new here, but I've been beta-ing for a while now. Feel free to give my name to anyone who is in need of some editing work. :) I can provide references, if you'd like, or a description of what I can do.

I might beta; I betaed like mad for a different fandom, three years ago, but frustration turned me away...I could restart.

I'm happy to beta. Give my name to anyone in need. Please have them email me and ask first, though, because I'd hate for them to send the fic and find out later that I don't have time to read it.

I'd be happy to beta. I know how hard it is to find a good beta. What I'd prefer is someone who would also be willing to look at my fiction, a simbiotic relationship, if you will. But I'd be happy to help. I agree with Linden that a board where people can post their needs would be good, like pick-me.net except for betas. Then you wouldn't have to deal with every single offer.

I'd be delighted to beta; just email me and I'll get in contact.
