News Sad news...Hey all,So I'll post the links to the challenge fics later, but first I have another announcement to make. My friend David died in Memphis this morning. I got a call from his dad... apparently, it was a heart attack, probably from a congenital issue that nobody knew anything about. He was 34 years old. When I started writing D/G, I kind of dragged David into the fandom... I remember that before the seventh book, we had long talks where we would spin ENDLESS theories about what might happen. He never really wrote D/G, but he did start writing Luna-centric fics with D/G as a side pairing. I'm still in shock... maybe I dreamed the entire thing... I talked to his dad again today... David wrote a will by hand a short time before this happened apparently and I'm the only person named in it... It's absolutely awful and unjust to lose a friend so young, but cherish the memories you have together, maybe it's the best way to temper the pain a tiny little bit... I keep thinking of things I can't wait to say to him, and then, well, I remember that I can't, ever again. (Okay, maybe in the next world/reincarnation/heaven/purgatory/whatever. ;) But yes, writing helps, creating helps, and this SITE has been a HUGE help.
