Not even an 'epilogue' oneshot with the happy ending? Just thinking out loud here. Loved the fic, and I did cry at the end even with knowing something bad was going to happen. :)

I really love your writing style, the dialogue made me laugh several times, and I was so sure this would be one of those cheesy Battle of Hogwarts stories.
PS: Ginny's not really dead, right? 'Cos everyone knows Fudge is never right.
Or she managed to have his child while they were away. That would be cute...

Author's Response: Hmm... I sort of hoped people didn't read or remember this fic anymore. I guess I don't want to say 'never' but it's highly unlikely I'll be doing part 2. Homecoming was the first D/G fic I ever wrote, 4 years ago, and I can barely stand to read it now without cringing. So, I'm sorry you've been waiting all this while for an update that won't get written. If it helps, part 2 would have ended happily.

your story seemed a tiny bit rushed, but truthfully I think it would fit Draco's character from all we have seen and heard of him in the books, after all Lucius mad a mistake. He raised Draco to rule, and lead. Unfortunately he didn't take into consideration how far he went and other people's influences. Very good overall, I will be following your series. Shenna

Wow. This story had me alternatively laughing out loud, sighing in a fit of empathy, or, at the very end, on the verge of tears. Mostly now though I just want to know what happens next! I sorely hope that this brilliance has not been abandoned. It was fascinating to watch the characters, relationships, and definitely your skill as a writer naturally develop throughout the chapters. 'Twas pure delight to read and hope, hope, hopefully part two will soon be upon us!
