This was amazingly well-written! You captured D & G's interaction and dialogue very well; usually most stories follow a cursing/sniping/sexual tension pattern for about four chapters before going on to their trust. But this story didn't, and it really stood out. And I loved the happy ending! Thank you so much for contributing this wonderful story to all lovers of Draco/Ginny! :) - Tea http://livejournal.com/users/smittenly

Goodness. Absolutely beautiful. The way you portrayed their inner thoughts was so realistic I almost thought it was a canon moment :) This is going on my fanfiction rec blog for sure! :D - Faith http://dg.serene-silence.net

oh wow...that was the absolute best fanfic I've ever read...the last two chapter actually made tears come to my eyes (from sadness and happiness), which has never happened with any other fanfics or even the real harry potter books!!! The ending was so sweet, I love these happy endings...thank you for such a magnificent reading experience!!! You really made my day! *goes to get some more tissues*

I completely loved this story. And it was really believable too, with Draco overcoming his Malfoy pride and the 'Malfoy way' that had been drilled into him by his father slowly, and finally realising what he felt for Ginny. When I was reading the last two chapters, I felt quite sad, and that doesn't often happen, and I got all tingly feelings in my stomach at the end because it was just so beautiful. Well written! I'm definitely bookmarking this one to read again.

Oh no! This story cannot be ending so soon! Ah - but what's been said has been said.. I've loved this story ever since reading the beginning - I can't wait for the Epilogue! Any future works in progress?

Author's Response: thanks so much for the kind words. The epilogue should be up soon. Then I plan to finish Winning the Cup, Obsession Fulfilled and Unlikely Bonds in that order. I have a one-shot half-finished as well as two glimpses ten years into the future of Not Just Friends Anymore. I decided I needed to concentrate on just one story at a time, otherwise I'd never finish any of them.

As I have said before- I love this story. I was actually expecting it to go on for a bit more but the way you tied it up was beautifully done. The ending was bittersweet but appropriate (in my opinion as this was for the most part a D/G friendship story). I would love to see an epilogue but the ending can stand alone as well. Once again this was an appealing and brilliantly written story Shades

good story, i just wanted to mention a few realityerrors or whatever you'd like to call them. In the book harry gives ginny his new books that he got from lockheart so technically they shouldn't have had any old extra things in them like a secondhand book would. And alos it was arthur weasley who always told her not to deal wiht things that they dont know where it's brain is. Anyway keep it up *-*

How much do I love this story? Its so different from the typical DG plotline and yet, completely and utterly believeable. I love that they've developed a friendship that could (hope springs eternal) lead to more. And Draco has slowly developed his own sense of self and his own set of values. Please tell me its not over!! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words. No, the story isn't over. I'm now writing an epilogue and hope to have it posted in a few days. And remember, I'm an unabashed happy ending person ...

I wouldn't say this chapter was long. But perhaps its because when reading dialogue it seems shorter. I enjoyed Ginny's explanation of the diary as well as her revelations from the penseive. I also enjoyed Draco's self analysis. Overall this chapter is very good. I rarely enjoy chapters that consist mainly of dialogue but the way this chapter was written- it draws you into that room- making you actually see the dialogue rather than read it. I believe that is what made the chapter seem short to me and not as full of dialogue as it actually may be. You have Draco and Ginny both are in character( i say this often, but most of the fics out there contain an OOC Draco and Ginny) This is a beautifully written chapter! Keep up the Good Work! - Shades

this is soooo good!!! what a great idea for a story. i like how your keeping d/g in character. i want to believe ginny is strong in canon but i agree she must be haunted by her first year. i like your discription and dialog. your inner workings of the pensive is logical and believeable. i'm also glad your not afraid to write long chapters. it's good to see your standerds have not slipped even though your writing a little different with this piece. please continue.

This is a really, really interetingstory. Its unique and well written and the characters look like they have some 'substance' about them. I genuinely look forward to reading more. Thanks!
