This is about the 4th time I've read this story, I'm not sure what it is that makes me return to it...but I thought I should at least give you the courtesy of a review. I love that it's told from the perspective of Ron, Harry and Hermione...I think Rons perspective is the one I love the most...his seems the most heartwrenching. This is just a beautiful piece of writing.

This is honestly one of the most beautiful pieces of writing ever.

That was amazing, plain and simple. I don't even really know what to say about it... it was such a great read; very dark and sad, and yet... I don't know. There was something nice about it. Ginny had Draco, and Draco had Ginny, and it didn't matter that she was a Weasley and he was a Malfoy. It didn't matter how or when it happened, it just mattered that it did. You are an amazingly skilled writer as well! Very well written- I enjoyed it greatly. :)

I really liked this story. It was sad, but happy, if that makes any sense. Keep up the good work! :-)

This was the most beautiful piece I have read. It was dark and desperate and that is what made it gorgeous. The way you played Ginny and Draco was fabulous, I also liked the way you had the trio tell the story. Absolutely beautiful. Cheers!

again your work amazes me. There are times when I need to read a story like this...it's so dark...so desperate...so terrible...but at the same time it all seems to go with the sort of reaction one would expect from the youngest Weasley. You are way too good. Which could never be bad. I am moved by this piece and honestly, it brought me to tears!

Delicious. Just beautifully poised and gracefully rendered. You have a lovely deft touch with the narrative and a steady hand with the details. I am very, very impressed (and am about to go forth and read everything else you've got on here!). In particular: I love the delineation of the narrative, the way it starts with "we" and then fragments into three separate "I"s, and the shadows cast upon the trio by this war, by this incident, and how in comparison, Draco and Ginny are almost serene. They've gone through the dark and reached some sort of zen. Hermione's hate and Ron's helplessness are piquant and perfect.

One word: WOW. That was truly extraordinary. Words cannot express how utterly profound an effect this story had on me. It was quite simply fantastic. Part of me is frightened to ask: Is there a sequel/companion piece? I would dearly love to read more of this sort of writing.

This is the best Draco/Ginny story I've ever read in my entire life. It's creepy and dark and vaguely disturbing...wow.

I loved this story. I thought it was awesome how you never actually said who was the narrator at any given time, but you are able to tell whose view you're seeing things from by the things that they say. This is definitely one of my favorite D/G short stories.

I loved the quote at the end! It just. Fit so beautifully with the story. "What he deserves is a place by his father's side, but apparently he hasn't lived up to even those expectations." That was a great line. I really enjoyed reading this from the different perspectives you offered. I also enjoyed your powers of description:) Great stuff!

That was awesome! "Sonorus" and therefore I have nominated it in the category "Best Short Story (Angst) D/G" for this summer's Portkey's Reader's Choice Awards :) Ri
