I loved this story except for the repeated use of the word "homely." While it is true that it does mean home-like, the more common usage of it is to mean ugly. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think Ginny craved an ugly house.

well its taken me like four years to actually finish this story, not to say that it was bad or slow or anything, its not. but i guess i would start to read it and then have to go somewhere or something and not come back to it until months later then start from the beginning, i swear i've read the first chapter like 15 times. so i finally finished it! yay! it was very very good! you're brilliant!

Brilliant. The tone and mood you set, particularly in the early chapters, are vivid and create a beautiful (if sometimes dark) atmosphere for the story. Some confusion with the timeline, though: in one chapter you say Ginny and Draco's marriage took place 4 years ago; in the next you say it took place 3 years ago. Other than that, well-written.

I found this fic through a recommendation, and wonder that I had not heard of it before. Typically, there is something so difficult when it comes to actually writing about love that will last beyond lust. But you did a wonderful job of pacing and developing Dracos' emotional state---showing that happily ever after does not obligatorily come with a white knight (or instant 'true love'). The development of the lesser characters as well, especially Arthur, showed that love stories are not cookie cutter/isolated daydreams. It showed that the other people always have motives beyond finding happiness (or pain) for the protagonists. So many fics lack this understanding, and not only do you grasp the concept, but you practice it beautifully. This is a truly great fic.

I truly loved this story, but I must say, I was a bit disappointed by the quick ending. It was almost as if you lost your passion for this story, and hammered out a quick resolution. IF that is the case, I do want to thank you for finishing this piece. It would have been much worse to leave it unfinished. You have such an indepth writing style that captivated me. Thank you for sharing this fic with us.

I really enjoyed most of the story- the supressed emotions, the potential for them to be released, and of course your lovely writing style- but while the ending certainly fit, it seemed like there were a few chapters missing. I would have liked to see the relationship between Draco and Ginny change and morph into a real, loving marriage.

The build up was great, but, while the end was good, the ending was totally rushed. I look forward to the epilogue I know is coming...because Blaise and Draco are plotting...I can FEEL it! I'm sure it will be brilliant as well.
