this story is immense!!! but i dont think it belongs here. it is not centred on Draco and Ginny!!! it constantly confuses me how it was allowed here, dont get me wrong this story is absolutely phenomonal, i just think i would appreciate it more were it somewhere else, like schnoogle or somewhere. It just confuses m being here and not being centred on Draco and Ginny.
Anyway, i truly did enjoy it and i think you are an amazing author.

Author's Response: It is on Fiction Alley. I got the suggestion to post it here because there's D/G in it, even tho it's not the central focus.

I commend you this is really great you gave your oc depth and a twist that made her 3D you also gave a bit of a mystery with severus and how draco will deal with his advice which makes better but I think you should deepen the plot a bit

love it and hope ya update soon!

Author's Response: The entire story is already up. :)

Hot damn, but this is good. I simply couldn't stop reading. The original characters are blended so well with the HP verse that when you're reading it's like they've always been a part of the action. And the mythology and background of the magic and mermaids and everything is fantastic. It all sounds so real and I don't know, I want to say professional but I'm not sure if that's exactly the right word. Anyway, absolutely loved this story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the response! These characters have lived in my head for a very long time, so they certainly felt real to me. And I've always been convinced that there are other kinds of magic the books didn't talk about. It seemed like a great way to blend them together. :)

I just finished your story and wanted to let you know I really enjoyed it. It was definately one of the more unusual stories I've found on here. I hope you write a sequel for Harry. :)

Author's Response: Actually, I did! Well, I'm still in the process of writing it. And poor Harry *does* get something of a happy ending. :)

Well, I've finished. It was pure genious. Everything got tied up and was so well-written. It made me happy. Yes, I did spend the better part of the afternoon and evening reading this. That is just how cool I am. But I loved it. It was just so damn good, and intricate.

Author's Response: I was about to respond to the other comment when I saw this. Wow, you took a lot of time out to read this. Thank you! The more time it spent living in my head, the more complicated things got and the more the characters were alive for me. I couldn't quite let them go, so there is a sequel. It'll go up at some point, I promise!

Wow, I really love this story. I'm only on Chapter 12 or something, but it was making me sad that you had no reviews, so I stopped to fix that. ^_^ I love all the subtleties you've got going, all the plot pieces woven together. Very well written, and very enjoyable.

Author's Response: I'm glad that you're enjoying the fic. :)

AH! The sandman! Brilliant comic books, love how you referenced it!

Author's Response: Thanks! I love the series and the themes, but there was enough going on in this that I didn't want to bring the Endless in directly. :)

*sigh* It took me three days to read this and now I wish this fic would never have ended. It was lovely. All the ´information´ and stuff. You´ve been working hard with this one, and you´ve done a REALLY good job too :P I loved this fic. It´s not often a fic leaves me wondering what happens with Harry, like it does when I read the newest Potter (I´m jumping around like a skitzo, the sixth book is coming!!!!), but this one made me wonder. I´m not sure if it´s a good or a bad thing. Fics with a Harry in lead can be really bad. Fics could never take the books´ place, so it´s scary to think this fic left me almost as sad and broken as Potters do. Well yeah, now I´m talkin´ about wrong stuff. The main point I wanted to tell you was: This fic was great. You rock :P

Author's Response: Thanks for the kind words! I did leave a few loose ends, and a sequel is in the works. I'll be posting those up soon enough. :)

great fic, although it seems that everything didn't tie in together perfectly as it usually does and things were left unsaid to make the reader imagine the ending. good job with the story!

Author's Response: A lot of the characters took on a life of their own as I was writing it. So like with Real Life, things get messy, and not everything is neat. The bunny did bite me with a sequel, though... It'll be going up soon. :)

I really like your story. You do a good job of weaving an intricate story line without getting too bogged down in details.

Author's Response: I have the belief that the reader is intelligent and can figure out things for themselves. Though I did leave some things unfinished, which meant the bunny bit me with its sequel as I was finishing up this one. :)

Author's Response: Yes, she is.... Eventually. :)

i'm actually in shock that you don't have more reviews than this. Its obvious that so much has been put into this story. And so far it's been a real joy to read. I was a bit put out that there isn't as much Draco/Ginny as I would have liked but the way you've taken so much effort to place old myths, fairy tales and parts of history has made it worth wile.

Author's Response: Thanks! The problem with this is that it's so huge and has so many characters. Trying to get everyone in and grown up *believably* was my main concern. And I wanted the relationship to progress on its own time, too.

Is ginny in this story at all? i dont think she is

Author's Response: Keep going... she will be eventually, and she'll actually be nifty. :)

I like this. Is there any Draco and Ginny in this? Cause so far...there is nothing. Is Ginny in this class.

Author's Response: Keep reading... D/G kicks in a little later. And yes, Ginny's in the class, too.

This is a really good story, but I have a slight "beef" with a small factoid in your description of Regina. Even if she is a genius, is it possible for her to get through all the research and teaching and work for grad school in just 2 years? I mean, even if she is a genius, and humanities graduate work is shorter than that for sciences, wouldn't it still take her a while to do all her classes and research? It's not that important to the plot, but it just really stuck out for me. Overall, though, I think the story is really good. Draco's a bit OOC, but it's still good. I can't wait for the D/G romance!

Author's Response: Hey there! I was silly and posted my reply as a separate comment. D'oh! :) But in reference to the grad school thing, it depends on the nature of the paper, whether the student took summer classes, more than the standard 12 credits per semester, etc. Humanities can be done much faster than sciences, because it's paper-based as opposed to research based. I've known some people to get grad school work done in a year, as long as it's not the sciences. If it was, how long it took is anyone's guess. :) What I had in mind for Regina was less of her being a genius and more of a compulsive hard worker. She piled on the credits and just didn't stop until she was done with grad school. It's very doable. I personally never took less than 15 credits in college per semester, was in a few clubs, had two part time jobs and did tons of writing on the side. I wasn't even the worst case; some classmates were taking 21 credits plus extracurriculars and jobs. I did the background part of the chapter just to show that she pushes herself really hard, and probably more than she should. D/G picks up later... when Draco's ready to appreciat our wonderful Ginny. :D
