Absolutely fantastic idea! (Though of course, I'm a firm believer that the sciences + fantasy + HP are such a cool combo. :oD) I especially liked:

Was Ginny able to recover Ron to his old self or is he still hanging with the Longbottoms? If Ron did recover, then the Longbottoms must have recovered also because you stated Draco is the hardest patient and I would think that a case like the Longbottoms would be the hardest for its time duration.

Err...most of this just reminds me of The Silence of the Lambs. Pretty freaky eh? Well, actually, up until he hugged her I thought that-don't know what exactly I was expecting, Draco making slurpy noises at her? Hahaha...
