I am a huge fan of your writing and thrilled to see a story updated. Oddly enough, I had just thought about this story a few days ago (forgot it was yours) and am glad to see it updated. I always enjoy tortured Draco and its interesting to learn about his pazst and what Ginny has had to do to survive. Hope your muse inspired again soon!
Still lovely. And I still think that Draco isn't telling Gin everything, but she's not exactly forthcoming either. They are both so damaged that only the other can fathom their pain.

Yay, finally an original circumstance. I must say I've never read a fic where Voldemort is in complete power (though I'm sure others exist, I've never read one).My only criticism is that I'd like more on why Draco wanted to fall away. I'm not saying he needs some miraculous "turning point in my life" story. I'm just saying you need a reason. All you'd need to do is mention that he had never really agreed with his father, or that Snape had led him after sixth year and taught him (that would require a good Snape), or whatever. You just need to make sure your characters are real and part of that is making sure there are believable motives behind their actions.
Author's Response: Well don't worry, I definitely plan to do that. But the fic is very much from Ginny's Point of View so I didn't want to introduce too much of Draco too quickly. Draco is a very private sort of person so he's not going to reveal all his deep dark secrets within the first few hours of 'meeting' Ginny. All will be revealed in due course...

one thing: your paragraphs here are long... they make it difficult to stay with it. if you broke up your paragraphs i think that it would flow better. but that is just personal.

I'm pleased that you don't think Draco too OOC, because when I was writing this HBP!Draco was in the forefront of my mind and since we know he's already a DE, I tried to imagine how he would be several years down the line. He certainly doesn't seem the ruthless type so it wasn't a great stretch of the imagination to think that he would end up in disgrace and all alone (Because we will see what happened to his parents later on), and I am trying to build a little on the hidden vulnerability we saw in HBP.

You are rather horrible with cliff-hangers. That is respectable in another writer, it keeps them all coming back for more in a more or less addictive state. *inhales story* I fully admit that i am addicted as well.

I, too, am usually wary when it comes to brothel!Ginny fics so I was understandably nervous about posting this one, but it seems to have gone down rather well. *is relieved* I think what sets it apart is that I am trying to focus more on her motivations and emotions than the fact that she is a whore, so it is easier to identify with her as a character because she herself would rather not be in that situation. If you see what I mean. :-)
