Who-oaa. This fic just got about ten times crazier. In a good way, of course. So, if I'm understanding correctly, Voldie and the DEs have won, and have control of the gov, and the Order is now underground?
From the way Draco and his Slytherins were freely running around before, I always assumed the war was over. But, wow, it's all slowly--so slowly--beginning to make sense. That's why Ginny's a slave and a fugitive. Yeesh.
I like how slowly you're letting us figure things out, and I'm impressed that you're able to do so entertainingly.
As for Draco, I'm inclined to feel bad for him, but since he's a DE helping to run what seems like the world turned upside down, I'll try not to too much.
Lastly, I am SO curious as to what Ginny's feelings are regarding all this. At this point, I have no idea; it's all through Draco that we see things.

Aw, that was heartbreaking. I have to say, I'm pretty glad it's not some random wizard she's marrying, or Blaise. Why was she so stunned if they kissed so passionately before? Was she trying to run away, with her stuff on the bed and everything? Great chapter, I can see the Keith Urban influence :). I love this line: "I love you, Ginny, for whatever that's worth, and I know you're not without feelings for me. I'll do my best to make you happy. And I'll care for you and protect you until my last dying breath." (Aw..)
Author's Response: 1) I think she was stunned because she never thought Draco would want to marry her. The man would have to be head over heels in LOVE to do something as dangerous as that. Wanting to snog something is very different from wanting to lay your life on the line and marry them. 2) No, she wasn't trying to run away. She was trying to pack up her things because she thought she was going to marry some random wizard and move out of the Manor the following morning. That's also why she was so preoccupied with getting her 'things' from his flat. 3) So happy you loved that line, and that you could see the Keith Urban influence. Love that man's music! I can't help feeling bad for Draco. He put his feelings on the line- with no response at all from Ginny. Although on the plus side i suppose we can see the no response as not an outright rejection.... Hopefully Ginny's silence is due to shock and not anything else.
This is a very entertaining story and i can't wait to see what happens next.

Draco is bewitched with the best thing that has ever happened to him, even if she doesn't realize it yet! Boy, she's not a happy camper about this marriage thing is she? She should be though because she knows how well he will treat her as his wife. It's more than apparently that he's head over heels in love with her. It's way more than she could have ever asked for when all this started.

Wow. I had a suspicion that she was marrying Draco, but it was still almost shocking. This chapter was awesome, and I hope Ginny can be happy in her marriage. By the way, is her family alive? Just wondering because I can't remember if I read it or not. Anyway, great update, and I can't wait to read more soon!
