Damn, I love these fingernail-gnawing plot-twists! The moment I read that Draco's knives were missing, I knew they were going to end up severing someone's jugular, but I wasn't expecting it to happen twice. I particularly relish the Political-Intrigue!Ginny and can hardly wait to see how you resolve this one. Excellent read, as always.

Hooray! An update! I love this chapter, particularly the way Ginny's plans unfold. Poor, clueless Draco certainly took a while to catch on, didn't he? He would have saved himself a lot of trouble many times over if he had realized from the first that Ginny just doesn't need saving. Not really. I'm still holding out hope for a happy ending, though. You are too cruel. That ending!!! "Fuck off," and poor Draco hiding under his covers. Forget about HIS breaking heart, what about mine?!

And Ginny is insane. Just insane. I had exactly the same reaction as Draco when I read about her killing those men with the knives-- WTF is she doing???? And Draco is too funny, the way he points out that 1) those are HIS knives she's using (oh, the irony), and 2) she's not even Bulgarian!!

So I continue to go on loving this story, even as it continues to make me miserable. Hey, I guess I really am like Draco.

I didn't like this whole thing about Ginny losing her magic; fic authors use it too often and it really never seems to have a point. Nor does it seem to be taken as seriously as it ought--she's beyond crippled, now. I mean, you've ripped out an essential part of who she is, of what makes her not human. And...yeah. I don't like that. I feel like it's just used for the sake of the plot, and not really as part of her development as a character--which it has a HUMONGOUS impact on.

Other than that one fact, and the fact that there were a few misspellings, I really enjoyed this chapter, like all of your others. I hope we get to see another one soon!!

First off... I love your chapter titles. They make me smile immediately when your story pops up on the screen. Second... wow! Political intrigue, assassinations, etc. A brainy D/G fic. Third...Fuck their idle chatter and useless concerns. He had a witch to save. Ahhh. I adore it. If only he were super!Draco... able to leap... whatever. She'd still be married, though.

What a great christmas present. I was so happy to see this updated. I love your titles, they always crack me up to no end. Ginny is just all kinds of dangerous going around slicing folks throats and everything. Draco should know by now the woman can take care of herself with or without magic, but I still understand his concern because he loves her. Now, that she's blown him off yet again what will he do? Will he attempt to move on, or will he steadily give himself self-induced ulcers worrying about her? Great update.

"a Squib" - *dies, only to ressurect self to die again* How deliciously morbid - I definitley did not see THAT coming; simply genius!

"His kitchen knives were running around Bulgaria killing people." - despite the seriousness of the implication it made me laugh nonetheless.

Wow - what a web you have woven - only it's not so much a web as it is a bloody brick wall where you have effectively cut off all hopes of them getting together. What happens now I'm absolutely dying to know!!! Are we nearing the end or have you a couple of more torturous hurdles hidden up your (clearly voluminous) sleeve. And here I thought your muse was a "barren waste land" :D. An absolutley magnificent and intriguing chapter - I could not think of a better way to start my 18th birthday ;)!

There are two reasons for this. 1) I'm participating in the d/gficexchange this year - due Nov 25th. 2) I'm also participating in the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this November w/the goal of writing 50,000 words of fic in the month of November - along w/60,000 or so other crazed writers.
