Author's Response: Yeah a few people have noticed that. To be completely honest, that was just bad researching (or lack of, actually) on my part. I forgot they were the same year, and by the time it was brought to my attention, I just couldn't figure out a way to work her back in. I hope you don't mind too much. That was definately a huge blunder on my part.

I've been looking at this story for weeks, trying to decide whether or not to read it. And the other night, I finally made my mind up to read it. And oh boy, am I glad. I wish I would've made that choice weeks ago.
Your story is amazing. I love your characterization of Draco, how he still becomes Malfoy from time to time, and how he's far from perfect, and how he's not a non-Death Eater because he's suddenly fallen in love with Muggles and such. I also really love Ginny. She's determined, yet also vulnerable and semi-naive at the same time.
I just have one question, though - what happened to Draco's mark? Why isn't he being called anymore? I'd almost forgotten he'd even had it and was curious about what had happened with it.
Keep up the excellent work, and I look forward to seeing an update soon!

This is probably the best DG story I have ever read. Things between the two move slowly and with realistic fights and this really works much better than some others. Everyone is incrediably in character and the story line is bloody amazing!

omygosh. im so excited for draco's spell to finish. and blaise is so right! everyone (including me) is so caught up with the amazing-ness of the spell he thought up that the consequences of a spell so great, should it fall to the wrong hands, would be at their disadvantage in the end. sigh. anyway, rambling. can't wait when harry can actually use the spell already!!! :D

oh my, i love the new twist. do you think ginny and draco already know that ginny may have to sleep with potter before he battles voldemont? me? i think it would be an interesting twist because he would need her and draco would know that she did it because she had to ultimately give him something that was good to defeat - how else would the curse work to defeat voldemont. loving your chapters with each read. I began reading this story on fanfiction.net back in October, one Saturday morning. Before I knew it, it was already 3PM, half my day spent reading this incredible story. From Chapter 1 you captured my attention to the D/G ship and I've been sailing ever since. Each chapter is better than the last, building up the story, and most importantly, the characters. I love Blaise and Harry and how they each interact with Ginny. I especially love how Harry's come to somewhat accept, or at least has moved on from the fact that Ginny is now with Draco. What I love most is the D/G interaction. Your D/G characters are SPOT ON! As the final battle looms closer, I'm anxious to know how each character handles it. I know it will be great! Keep it up!
