Ah, the angst! Meddling McGonagall was good to see. Someone needs to knock some sense into Draco to tell him to not just give up on Ginny. And Ginny; her struggle with herself in Draco's chambers was very well written.
I can't help but notice how your chapters are titled after Lifehouse song titles. *grins* When I realised, I put their album on. Sad, huh?

GAH! talk about frustrating! I think Ginny should just grab him and start wildly kissing him, that'd be nice. Man, I was so psyched for this chapter, I'm going to be checking like every day for the next one. Your fiction is very easy and pleasant to follow, even if the plot is at a frustrating stage (I share embellished's view about lips not being loose enough). The characterizations are strong. I'm looking forward to reading where you plan to take us.

Such a good chapter. I think it's really interesting in Draco's choice of words. When he said that the girl he fancy'd was 'married' but I guess to a lot of people, the engagement is as good as marriage -- and she'd given her heart to Harry so long ago, it's basically the same isn't it? Anyway, I adored McGonnagall here and despite the damn Dark Mark I hope Draco stops being blind... though it jsut occured to me that this is the title -- he's not going to be 'blind' through the whole thing is he? It is under the 'Romance' category -- you can't leave us with Angst! ;) But I can sense this is the beginning of an epic -- so I guess I'll just have to be patient! ;)

It sometimes amazes me how much pain and suffering could be avoided if characters in stories would just *talk* to each other. Of course, then there wouldn't be much of a story, would there? Thank you for the update, even though I want to take Ginny and Draco and knock their heads together!
Author's Response: They *will* talk to each other, I promise. But with these two it won't be as simple as just talking.
