I LOVE this. It's adorable, and I could just see what was coming when Draco was chilling the champagne. You know for being so smart, Draco can be quite clueless sometimes. But that's why we all love him. Great job!

Author's Response: Draco's cluelessness was one of the things that made this story so fun to write! Thanks for reading and for the review.

Very cute story! You obviously know a lot about wine and I find it very plausible that Draco would be obsessed with wine as well. At times, the story felt a little "teachy," but the romance was very sweet. Highly creative effort.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I was a little worried that it would be too "teachy", especially with the tasting notes, so I'm sorry you think I crossed the line. But Draco does seem like the type to be hung up on wine, doesn't he? Thanks for reading and for the review.

What I admire most about this fic (other than all the research and explanations that must have gone into it, and the fact that you were able to construct an engaging fic around wine vintages) is the fact that the entire story is told from Draco's POV. It's very rare, I find, for an author to chose to tell the story only from his perspective, most either bouncing back and forth from various characters, or sticking with Ginny. I know that I, personally as a female, have a lot of trouble writing from a male's perspective and tend to prefer to write from my female character's POV. The fact that you've stuck with Draco throughout the fic, and that it's very convincingly done, only adds to the originality of the fic itself. I really enjoyed reading it!

Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed the story, especially the perspective. It was fun to write--and a challenge as well. Draco isn't an easy character to capture (and I'm sure I didn't do as good a job as others have, for example Anise in KCotDT), but in this case he came awfully close to writing himself. It was clear to me that if he were to drink wine, he would have to be a wine snob, and I've met lots of those. Anyway, I would certainly recommend writing a Draco-centric story to anyone who wants a bit of a challenge. It certainly can be an adventure.

Lovely!! v enjoyable reading... though does make me want to have a wine glass beside me. cant wait for the pressure to build!

Author's Response: Well, wine is one of the joys of life. Especially combined with D/G fic. That's where I got the idea for the story, after all. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story as well. Thanks for reading and for the review.

perfect end - poor Draco and wine withdrawal. Beautifully written.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

*happy sigh* Perfect. Although, I don't know how Draco will survive nearly a year without win, but I'm sure Gin will do what she can for him. Thanks for such a lovely story.

Author's Response: Poor, tortured Draco. But I guess by now he has figured out (probably with lots of prodding from Ginny) that he isn't the center of the universe. I'm sure he'll survive. Thanks for reading and for the reviews!

lol...ohhhh that was the end..heheh...it was still perfect...even better..loved it!!..great job!! Draco seemed so cute

Author's Response: One of the advantages of an epilogue is that you get two endings for the price of one! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading and for the review.

What a perfect ending to a perfect story! I really liked this, and didn't think it was too cheesy at all. Draco and Ginny were brought together by their love of wine, but there's lots more to their relationship, as this epilogue shows. I'm sad to see this end -- I hope you'll have another fic in the works soon!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story and didn't think the epilogue was too cheesy. I hoped that it wouldn't be too bad. Thank you for reading and for the reviews.

Okay, I can't seem to review while signed in, so maybe 3rd time's the charm? This was such a wonderful story to follow. As you know, I loved learning about wine and how other people experience it. Since wine is one of those things I'll likely never be able to enjoy in real life the way Draco and Ginny do in this story, it's nice to be able to enjoy it fictionally. :D Also, I just have to say that Draco made me giggle in the epilogue when he had to go "compose himself" after realizing that Ginny couldn't drink alcohol while pregnant. He's such an endearing, clueless bastard. :D

Author's Response: I already responded to your post in my LJ, but thanks for the review and the review and the review and the LJ post you made when you thought you didn't review!

This was such a wonderful story to follow. As I've told you, I loved learning about wine and how people are able to appreciate it. Unfortunately I think it's one of those things that I will never be able to enjoy the way Draco and Ginny do in this story, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable to read. Also, Draco in the epilogue made me giggle when he had to go "compose himself" after realizing that Ginny couldn't drink alcohol while pregnant. He's such an endearing bastard. :D

I'd like you to know that this is the first time I have ever reviewed for a story. I thought it was wonderful! I have never read a story thus far, fanfic wise, that while away from the norm has come out so cleanly. You did a wonderful job of also keeping the reality of what they were talking about (i.e. the Masters of Wine exam being true)Thank you for the wonderful story!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I tried hard to make all of the wine references accurate, and to have them help the story move forward. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading and for the review. (And I would encourage you to review other stories--the authors really appreciate it!)

You, my friend are an absolutely AMAZING writer. I've read both this story and your story 'Coming Home' and i have to say, i loved them both. You have a way with words that many have but don't use. You are an absolutely wonderful writer and i wish to see so much more from you. I also love how you use wine as a pawn in this story. It's almost as if they are destined to love each other, but it wouldn't have happened without the wine. Creative. Also, you my dear know a lot about wine and should think about a job in the industry. Congratulations on such a wonderful story and past stories, i hope to see more of you soon.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoy my writing. I take time with it and edit every chapter several times to try to make it as good as I can--I'm glad that that is appreciated. And I may seem to know a lot about wine, but it is not nearly enough to make a career of it. Plus, I like what I am doing now! Thanks for reading and for the review.

I really have enjoyed this story. It's generally realistic enough that I don't have qualms with whether it could happen, in the HP universe, or not. And it still manages to have that element of fun that I find in the more crazy comdy fics. And you're knowlege of wine and the like is amazing. That's certainly a fun hobby, in the many meaning of the word 'fun'.

I'd also like to thank you for having Ginny go off wine when she got pregnant. I imagine she would, she's smart and she'd really care about her baby. But I think that sometimes people don't realize how much alcohol can mess up thier baby's system. So thanks for bringing that up.

All in all, this was a great story. I hope you write more, and I'll watch for them.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story and found it to be relatively realistic. I definitely had fun writing it! Thanks for reading and for the review.
