Author's Response: Thanks! I'm planning to update by the end of this weekend, no later than Monday night (the 22nd), so I hope you'll check that out.

I've been really enjoying this, i think you;ve created a creditable Alternate Universe, one that sounds plausible! x

Author's Response: Thank you very much! When I first started posting it, I really thought that no one would like it, given all the cracked-out AU that I've had to create in order to tell my story properly, but I'm gland that you like it and think that it's plausible.

haha I just spent who-knows-how-long watching Hana Yori Dango, which can be freely found here:
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=hana+yori+dango
(Episodes 1-8, anyway.) Where can I get / find / see the others? How many are there?

Awesome idea for a fic, too -- I kept seeing D&G while watching Tsukasa and Tsukki. hehehe :)

Author's Response: Glad you checked out HYD, b/c Tsukasa and Tsukushi are SO D/G-ish, it's incredible!

Hana Yori Dango is one of my favourite j-doramas, and DG one of the best pairings - you've combined what might be the two best things in life. I love the way you've intertwined the plot with twists of your own. In a most decidedly fangirlish way - *flail*!

Author's Response: Thank you! Coming from someone who is an HYD fan, that means a lot to me, as I'm always afraid of ruining the storyline, as I love it so very very much.

I'm not giving up on you. I love this story. It's in my top ten on this site and, considering how much fanfiction I read, that's an honor (In case you were wondering). Well, keep it up, and don't worry about taking so long to much. You chapters are much longer than many stories, and the quality is high. I'll take quality over speed anytime.

I really like your characterization of Malfoy, though I admit he confuses me as much as he confuses Ginny sometimes. Ginny is a little more secure and a lot less of a person for facades. I do have one issue: If Hermione is having the same kind of relationship with Ron, it's not very likely that she woud refer to Harry only as 'the boy with glasses'. I know she doesn't like him, but still, you write it as if she doesn't really know his name. I think she would.

Anyway, very good job. Keep this up.

Whoa! Great Chapter.

Pansy/Draco/Ginny - I really do love Pansy seriously. She's such a bitchy girl but she was made that way. I found it hilarious how Gin was oblivious to the fact that she was asked out rather than challeged. Draco was smart in how he'd approached her but ultimately if it got back to Tonks it'll get back to his parents and I'm sure they'll piece in together how he didn't return home the following night.

Ginny/Hermione/Tonks - I liked that they got to spend a girls day out together, since recently they've been thrown into some pretty heavy dealings, being the death eaters and their uncanny ability to throw your life into turmoil instantly. I was surprised to see Tonks show up there, but I was glad that she did. Her giving Ginny the insight on Draco was the catalyst for this chapter, go Tonks nosey woman. Also, do we assume that Tonks dropped Hermione off after she'd thrown all those books by Gin?

Ginny/Draco/DE/Claustrophobia - I especially enjoyed where you took that issue. I kept wondering and wondering why the hell Gin was scared to death of enclosed spaces. Even though Gin is terrified/hates Snape to exploit her weakness, I think he just wants her to accept/confront that issue and ultimately get over it. Because it'll forever hold her back, and she'll probably have to deal with it again but in a more dangerous situation in the future, I'm sensing hopefully she'll overcome it down the road. The one thing that I enjoyed most about this whole chapter is the fact that Draco listened rather than judge her during the last bit, even after she'd accused him of being like his parents and the people in which they hold company with. I guess she needs to realize that he 'isn't' them, but at the same time he needs to show more of that instead of enforcing those prejudices she holds against him, being that he's from that background. I really look forward to them having that conversation on where he stands because ultimately to win her over he'll have to state his allegiance, since she's made it clear where hers' is.

I've gone on far enough. Great chapter, looking forward to all your next updates. :)

Gah! I love this story. If I could, I would read it all day; but sadly, that just cannot be done. Although, I am able to leave an awesome review. I simply love your story and this chapter is great. I like how Ginny and Draco are on somewhat friendlier terms. I cant wait for the next chapter! Over and out.

Thank goodness, I was wondering when you were going to come back I loved that they are finally making progress and getting to know one another. I guess I am hoping that Draco and Ginny will meet one another and discuss more about their relationship. How is Draco going to work it out so that he may begin a relationship with him. Are we going to fast forward soon and see what lies ahead for the couple?
Thank you for coming back and making the story come alive. Look forward to the next chapter!

Reviewing again: I read it and I love it! Bella as the crazy headmistress is a nice touch, as is Ginny's claustrophobia. Most people have shockingly-un-flawed characters.

Oh my gosh!! of COURSE we haven't given up on you! I love your story and there's absolutely no reason I won't wait indefinitely for you to update. And you're not the worst updater ever, I know several who have waited upwards of 8 months to update things. This is written before I read the chapter, so.. there'll probably be another review coming. As long as there aren't any freak accidents when I'm on the last sentence.

*hugs*

Dude, you're so evil.

I so wasn't expecting to see the new chapter when I got onto DG.com. I spilled my drink when I saw the chapter! Lol.

Standing outside, in a dark street in the dodgy end of town with bloody Draco Malfoy, and I actually felt safe

I loved that part. Because it so shows that she loves him. Well, maybe not loves him. But she likes him. At least.

And I loved how you did the whole 'elevator' thing. And how you showed how adorable Draco is, when he remembered who her favorite quidditch team was. And then when they were in the broom closet, and he grabbed her hand to comfort her. That was some major squee-age.

And I'm so excited now because relatively soon (Or not, depending on how many chapters do you per episode, lol) is the part where he has to go save her from the evil girl! And when he confesses he loves her! And please, tell me that they're actually going to kiss in your story. Because in HYD, after he saves her, and he just hugs her, and they don't do anything, and she doesn't say ANYTHING, that always bugged me. I mean, they're at least going to kiss, right? And Draco's still going to say that he loves her right?

Because those are the MOST IMPORTANT parts of those scenes!

I love Tonks' conniving. And Draco's personality shifts are tons of fun--the end of the chapter was priceless. Thanks for the update!

This is one of your best chapters ever. Worth the wait. More than worth it. She thought he was challenging her to a duel?? LOL.

I love that story about when she was 4 years old. You made me tear! I wonder what Draco thinks of all that?

Great job really. Brilliant. Every chapter, long and juicy. SIGH. I can't get over the Weasleys being thrown into Azkaban.

Boo.
