Beautifully written. You write poetically, using imagery in a way that is not overused but in a way which sets the tone. It makes me want to cry, it's so beautiful. Poor Ginny, my heart aches for her.

i was so excited to see this companion piece. i was starting to give up hope that you would continue with this series! the day you come out with the storm is the day i lock myself inside and read read read. even though the writing may be slow going, be encouraged by the thought that there are hundreds (and perhaps thousands) of readers who support you! keep up the good work - it's unparallel to anyone else's.

You are just... wow! You write beautifully. I cannot wait to read The Storm... I'm sure it will be just as good (if not better) than Before the Storm. I hope you can post more soon!

I love this companion story!! It's echoes Draco's thoughts in the other prelude. When will the Storm be coming out?? I'll be waiting with my fingers crossed!!!
Can it contain a little more humor than "Before the Storm"? Don't get me wrong, I loved the fic, but I got kind of depressed reading it. lol. Just Harry being Harry and Ron being Ron... that kind of humor...

I loved it, I eagerly anticipate the next piece in this amazing series.

man that was so depressing...suited my mood well enough. Damn that bastard Draco - duty pales in the face of LOVE *sob*

Author's Response: Draco is kind of twisted that way, isn't he?

Wonderful character sketch. I love the tantalizing hints you've dropped about Draco and the Order, and really felt Ginny's frustration. Too many beautiful images and phrases to isolate, but the pearly quill, the memory of bloody handprints, the quicksilver veins all mesh into a collective prose-poem whole. The perfect counterpart to the Tempest. I love how they even end with the same phrase. Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks! I worked hard on making their seperate lives joined, as they each parody the others life. Ginny's is so full of laughter and life, even if she remains apart from it, and Draco's is little but darkness and death, and he's caught in the thick of it. I love how they are each caught in their love for one another, but both deem it as a weakness in such trying times. I'm interested to see how this works out.

This is lovely. The imagery is especially evocative--it ties in beautifully with Ginny's thoughts. Thanks for posting this!

Author's Response: I'm really trying to work on developing Ginny these days, so I'm glad the imagery tied in well. Wow! You're welcome! Thanks for reviewing!

Beautiful, simply beautiful. I cannot express how much I love your writing without sounding like a complete idiot so just understand that this was AMAZING. The imagery in your work is unparalleled – its detailed but not too overpowering that you lose sight of what the story is saying. The emotions that come across are very heart wrenching and just…wow. Brilliant work and I can’t wait for The Storm :D!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, you're very kind! I can't wait for it either!!

I followed 'Before the Storm,' and this companion piece is excellent. I really wish that you would either continue this peice, with lemons of course, or write another one-shot, and tell us how it all ends.

Author's Response: Got to love the lemons! It's still a WIP, but I'm getting there! I've got about five different writing projects spread out right now.
