That sucks to get sunburt! I'm sooo lucky to have darker skin, so it doesn't hurt when i get burned! :D
Draco's a very grumpy person! :(

Love the chapter! I love the ending and how they both end up getting together! IT's soo funny how the house elves can't make the food right! I'm Indian and even I don't know what Partha bread is. So, what is it? Loved the story!

Oh, you've left me wishing that there were more...but anyway.
Although you've never been to India (and I've never had that pleasure, either), I really do feel like you've captured the look and feel of how Draco and Ginny would each feel settling there. The foods and the colors and everything you've added only heighten the images that I can see in my mind's eye.
I also love your characterizations so far - even of your original characters, and I look forward to seeing where you take them next.

I love this story. I've never been to India, but the descriptions used in the story makes me feel as though I'm there. The biplay between Ginny and Draco is refreshingly different from other stories I've read. Good job. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

And I'm also glad you like my personal Draco and Ginny...they are a bit different than most people's snarky Draco and fierce Ginny, but I think they're still pretty true to their canon characterization. The more I read this story, the more I love it. It's refreshing to read a story with some exotic locale. Have you ever seen Bride and Prejudice? It's uuber-corny with lots of spontaneous singing, but so good and that movie, in addition to this fic, makes me want to go to India so bad!! I can't wait for Draco and Ginny to get on to their "compatible" relationship.

I like your style. You manage to conjure eloquent visions of setting without piling up long descriptions, which is always a plus for the eager reader. When can we expect the next chapter? (Have you finished writing this story and are posting it bit by bit?)

Author's Response: A parasol is, by definition, an umbrella. Tends to be lacier, however--it is (or was, really) carried by women, during the day, to protect their skin from the sun. Very Victorianesque like thing to do, I suppose, but that is a bit how the Wilcoxes live.
And no, I'm half America, half French. However, I did a lot of research for this fic. I'm sure I'm not 100% on the mark, but I'll plead the "wizards are different!" card and also point out that I did try my best!
