Hey. I thought this was a beautiful, angsty, sad poem. I was surprised the ending was as sweet as it was, cause the first two parts led me to believe it would be downbeat. But I'm glad it wasn't. I think you've written some really beautiful lines. My favourite part was, 'The poison envelops me whole
And I lose the sight of my eyes
I feel the breaking of my soul
Then my body’s last good-byes.' X

Author's Response: Thank-you! I was actually thinking about making the ending as depressing at the start but reality sometimes changes its course. I'm glad you enjoyed it so.
