I got so freaking giddy reading this. This story reminded me of that old quote.
"If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, you were meant to be"
It definetely works for these two, so is this a one-shot or shall you continue? Either way, I enjoyed it immensely. TFP
Author's Response: Sorry, it was just a one-shot. It is, however, part of the Downfall arc, though it happens years after Downfall ends.

Don't walk away, Draco! Don't! *happy sigh* This made me blissfully happy - smutty happiness, fate and destiny all wrapped up in one. The ending was perfect.

I thought this was rather well done, especially for a first attempt. I liked how realizing who the other person was helped increase the intensity. Thanks for posting!

That was every bit as hot and passionate as its ending was sweet and delightful. Wonderful job. I loved it!
"But I don't think I can walk away this time." - Something about that line just made me smile.
I would love to know what happened the first time they were together and why he had to walk away. Have you given any thought to a prequel?

Author's Response: I like that their past doesn't automatically make them able to identify each other. As we grow up, and especially when we haven't seen a lover in many years, memories fade and people grow and change. I like having it so that Draco and Ginny felt something 'click', but weren't immediately like, 'OMG, it's Ginny/Draco, the love of my life. I'd know that scent/kiss/body anywhere!'

This was fantastically written and the plot was very original. I also liked the idea that this was not their first encounter and moreover that they were both okay with this particular instance when they discovered each other's identities... Draco's last line was both intriguing and satisfying. I only have one quip and that was Draco's asking Ginny for a kiss, I don't know, but for me that read more Neville than Draco...
Author's Response: Ah, Draco's request. Yes, that's slightly passive for Draco, but you have to remember that he did that when he was dancing with someone he thought he didn't know. I imagine Draco is a bit more circumspect in public, especially if the possible consequence is public humiliation.
