Thank goodness for the Awards: they allowed me to read this a while ago, before everyone else got to realize what a beautiful story this is. I liked the way you stayed true to canon by making Draco nasty, ill-tempered, self-centered, but also terribly human in his fear and need of appreciation. D & G's relationship was well depicted, harsh without preventing the possibility of something more, and when the something more appeared it seemed like the only, right thing. Thanks a lot for this very enjoyable set of chapters!
