Great work! I have to say, I'm wary of poetry (translation: I usually don't like it) but the structure added to the potency of the words and the haunting repetition of "I remember" was just simply fantastic. Thanks!

Oh, do I get cookies? The source is Cyrano de Bergerac, no? I love that film, and you've just made me remember how hot I thought Vincent Perez was as Christian! I though this was a very lovely poem, very sad. Ginny loses her love, just like Roxanne. *Sniff*

Author's Response: Yes! Good job! I loved that movie too. *throws cookies* Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you thought it was lovely. This is actually another work that I have modified a little bit from its original state to fit to be Draco/Ginny.

Hmmm... i got all of it except: Inflicted by your wife's poison-thorned rose.....

another good one!!

Author's Response: The idea was that the woman narrator (in this context, Ginny) had been having an affair with a man in a loveless marriage. The wife found out and sent Draco a rose with thorns dipped in poison, so that when he cut himself on a thorn it killed him. Which is ironic, because the rose is the flower for love- it's like a symbol for the fact that it was love that killed him.
