I enjoyed your characterization of Narcissa, because so often she's written as Ice Queen or Imperioused Victim and it was great to see a reasonable and believable deviation from that. Your narrative is amazingly detailed without getting in the way of the story's flow - but please don't be afraid of dialogue! I would have loved to see some more interaction "firsthand" (if that makes sense) instead of the description of it. It seems like the beginning of their new relationship is a great ending spot...but a sequel would still be great! :)

I adored Foolish Consequences in all its heart-wrenching glory. You have such a nack for words I can't even begin to describe it. Draco's rise to the challenge is truly befitting of his proper stature and character;I wish that more people would understand that purebloods are not purebloods for no reason, they are raised to their family's standard of perfection and should be portrayed as such.
I loved Narcissa, you truly captured a side of her which I have never seen in writing. Ginny's family troubles were also beautiful (though disheartening) to read, because with their tenacity and pride I can really see it happening, no matter how much they love her.
I hope for more in the future, but for now this was a marvelous ending. I would love to see the conflict with her family reconciled, and Doron grown.

Author's Response: I truly appreciate your feedback, it really keeps me writing. I hadn't intended to write a sequel when I first planned this story, or even when I concluded it, but I have since reconsidered. I would like to explore this little family's future, but with work and school and other fics that remain hanging out there, unfinished, I'm not sure when I'll get to it. Hopefully by the time I do, no one will have forgotten FC. Anyway, I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for the review.rn

Author's Response: Thanks so much, I really enjoyed writing this, it's become one of my favorites, and while I have come up with some loose ideas for a sequel, it's really going to depend on my schedule and the stuff I need to finish first. I'm glad you liked the closing line so much, I had actually worked out a different close there, but in speaking with my beta I closed it off there instead. Thanks again

That was cute, though I must say that I am sad that this is where it ends. Did she never get back together with her parents? Have they still not slept together, nearly two and a half years later? Really good story, I just wish there was more!!!

Lol! Brilliant reply, Ginny! I had my heart in my throat at Draco's proclamation of his feelings and felt the anticipation was very well rewarded by Ginny's reaction. *grins*
I have to say that I adored this chapter. Even though it pretty much glossed over a whole year - one which I would have greatly enjoyed reading more of - the way that Draco notes his growing feelings for Ginny over the course of time more than makes up for it. It was very uplifting reading about how Draco wanted to find the perfect way to sum up his feelings for her. Although, I was rather bemused to see that it took him the best part of a year to work himself up to saying it.
A lovely chapter, as always. And as ever, I am eagerly awaiting more - 'though I can't help but realise that more chapters may mean it'll be closer to the ending of the story! :( How sad I shall be to not have more chapters of 'Foolish Consequences' to read.
Author's Response: Thanks. I had a little trouble with this chapter- I didn't want to be too redundant or boring in describing Ginny's seventh year, and wanted to have more from Draco's POV, so I went this route. I felt like he would be just stubborn enough to not allow himself to just say it, but rather to come up with something worthy of him and of his little family. As for more chapters, I really wasn't too sure I could turn out a sequel until I started reading all the ch. 13 reviews. Though I really really want to get HSP done and the sequel to SSR started, I'm beginnning to try and figure out if my schedule might allow some more thought as to FC's offspring.

End story?! No! I beg, I plead, I grovel on my knees. It feels so incomplete. One more chapter? Please? Por favor? Sil vous plait? I'm running out of languages here... this is one of my favorite stories.
Can you resolve a bit more? Maybe show more love between them (flash to the future where Doron gets on the Hogwarts express or something)? Or a "what happens with the Weasleys?" Do they ever reconcile or is she just Malfoy from now on (fine with me, btw, I'd just like to know for sure)?

Author's Response: I have a partial scene in my head that might follow this one, but not enough to make a sequel as of yet. I really want to finish Hearts and Soul Parts, and hopefully write a sequel to Secrets of Slytherin Royalty, and few Hp/BtVS crossovers I've done, but I doubt my FC muses will leave me be forever. I did feel like there were some loose ends that could be addressed, but I'm still pondering how to do so. Thanks so much for reviewing; knowing there are those who would like a sequel make me a little more forceful with muses- for all the good it sometimes does me.

Awww! That was really sweet of Draco and I SO didn't see that coming! Is that the end of the story? I really hope not because I would love to read more and it seems like there is more to come. I've loved reading this story and I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this one, I had a lot of fun writing it. This is in fact the end of the story. I've played around with the idea of writing a short sequel, but haven't really come up with anything I feel is good enough. I have another story and a few sequels to other works on my drawing board at the moment, but if I ever have some time, I might have to pull this one out again. We'll see. Thanks again for the review.

That was an absolutely lovely ending to a lovely story. I seriously enjoyed this, and unlike so many stories where the reader is left in doubt about a truly happy ending after the proverbial end credits, this has just made me incredibly optimistic about Draco's, Ginny's, and Doron's futures.

Not what I originally expected, given the summary, but this has far exceded any expectations I may have had. It's a beautiful piece, and the emotions are perfectly captured. You've done an excellent job, and I eagerly await the next chapter.
