You hit my point you know, I just love the Ginny-and-Draco-alone-in-one-big-house stories. And then of course the veritaserum-part where his good side is visible. Well, I think you got the message that I have fallen madly in love with your story. So what can I do, so that you will be starting updating again? ::puppy face::

Oh...wow. I saw this story on PK and I had started reading it then. Just four chapters and I'm in love with it? I thought that was impossible in fanfiction. But there you go, proving me wrong.

Author's Response: Thank you!

Wow. That'll be awkward in the morning. What a lovely thing to say.

Author's Response: Yes, things will be awkward for a while :)

"I think I might be in love with you..."

*sigh* Oh Draco... he's so precious. What's Gin going to do with this info?

Author's Response: Gin is going to probably over think this bit of information unfortunately...

Could you hear the ginormous SQUEE over at your house?

That was warm and cuddly and happy and sweet and I'm SO looking forward to what's next.

Author's Response: I thought I heard something over the HVAC at work... *smiles*

Oooh so lovely! Great idea to have Draco drugged up on Veritaserum. I'm not sure I like the whole "oh Ginny - its so unsafe you must stay here". It felt patronizing to me - everyone else can risk their lives but Ginny needs to be tucked away because she's an ickle girl? FWIW that was my feeling but I really like this - well written (as always!).

Author's Response: Ginny being locked away for her safety is patronizing, and she's quite unhappy about her situation. She wants to get out there to join her family and fight the good fight, but she does have a duty to do.

Now this is the Draco I wished we saw in DH -- angry, bitter, and yes even jealous of what Harry has! I can't wait what Ginny's reaction will be next -- though a nice, steamy snog would be good enough for me! :D

Author's Response: Yes, this is the Draco I wished we'd seen in DH too! As for Ginny...only time will tell *g*

I'm glad to see my trust in you, even in the face of the end of the last chapter, was well-placed. Draco's back and maybe even in love. Happy sigh. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ginny reacts! Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: You never do know with me do you? I will tell you that Draco and Ginny aren't out of the woods yet...

Draco's Verritaserum-induced answers had an eerie detail, and the sheer *bulk* of the information he gave Ginny in just a few minutes was vaguely creepy... This is an amazing chapter, and I love how you brought Draco back and told Ginny so much without compromising their characters... fabulous, can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, Gin has a lot of processing to do. He gave her a lot of things she will have to think over before she can make a decision as to what to do next.

Great chapter. I really enjoyed it. I thought that you couldn't be emotional with Veritaserum in your system...Or maybe other fics are misleading. I am sorry that this is a crap review but my eyes are stinging from lack of sleep. But this was wonderful. I just wish that he had a way to show her his memories of the encounter. Does it make me sound bad if Harry goes down with Voldie...He doesn't deserve to be the "Hero" for how he expects her and others to wait for him and for what he did to Draco. I really wonder why Snape didn't take him to DD over that occurance and make him take some truth serum...

Author's Response: I'm going with the only thing Veritaserum does is make your tell the truth. It wouldn't be nearly as fun if we didn't get to see Draco's reaction to her questions :) I think Snape didn't take him to DD because Draco had to make the decision for himself whether or not he could go through with it. No one else could make that decision for him.

Draco's last statement is the sweetest thing ever, I swear. D'awwwww. However, I love that he wasn't sweet as pie throughout the entire interrogation. :) His anger and bitterness and attitude were perfect, and I love that he drove Ginny to defend Harry, who she's so disenchanted with, and then kept driving that stake home. You can really feel his frustration from being stuck with Potter and crew, and how that time wore him down.

But I really adore how his final admittance to Ginnny - under Veritaserum, thus making it totally legit and she has to deal with that somehow - continues to show his vulnerability, and I love that Ginny isn't taking advantage of that any more than is necessary.

Remus is fantastically devious here - mentioning the Veritaserum and not mentioning Draco's presence at first and generally just being awesome.

I also love Ginny's determination to not be useless, to get out there and help in the battle, rather than stay sheltered for her mother's sake. Another fantastic chapter! I can't wait to see how this all turns out!!

Author's Response: I'm so glad that you are still loving this :) Yes, Draco is not a happy camper at the moment, but then who would be in his position? Ginny is also not a happy camper, and on top of everything else she has to deal with, Draco has dropped the L-Bomb on her *grins*
