Absolutely wonderful! I loved it. Draco does have a soul and the capacity to love and you worked it out very convincingly. Very well written.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the story! I've never liked the idea of Draco being portrayed as one dimensional or evil. Selfish or arrogant, maybe, but he's also a kid in the books. Here, he's definitely grown up and having to make tougher decisions.I'm glad it worked for you. :)

what a wonderful read! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, the ending felt just right. I especially love the idea of a sentient Manor, it made the manor feel like another character in the story! x

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. For a little while after I finished this, I tried working on a sequel. Because I really don't have many questions left over at the end, it kind of stalled out. We'll see if I ever pick it back up.

Author's Response: I did try starting a sequel since so many people were clamoring for one. It's pretty much stuck, at least until I get a clear sense of plot for it.

Oh EV... it was grand. I loved it. I enjoyed the Manor so completely and that Draco had a conscience. I just loved it. Brava! ;)

This was a great story, loved it. Perfect. I really hope that you'll make a sequel. I would like to know when Draco and Ginny will return to the Malfoy Manor and so on...

Wow! When I started this story I didn't realize that it was finished. This was a treat for me as I love to read a story from start to finish when I can. Wow! This story was amazing, I was breathless at many points. With each chapter, I was fearful to start the next, worrying that they were to be caught. This was an amazing, intense story, which begs for a sequel. I am scared to read a sequel, again, fearful for what might happen. It is truly a wonderful story when it leaves me distressed that there is no more. Awesome job! -Kristine
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story. The idea was an intense one when I got it, which is probably why it didn't turn into an epic like they usually seem to. :) I seem to do one shots or long epics, and very few in between length stories. Maybe I'll do a sequel, I don't know. I didn't have much more after this. Maybe if I revisit the story, I'll come up with something, but I want to finish the other epics I'm already working on first. :)

A great story, really! I like your style a lot. But I have a question. Did you put on the dialogue, parts of the song Hikari (but the English version) from the Kingdom Hearts videogame?
You know, at the end when they are talking and she says things like "whatever lies beyond..", "it's a little later on..." "regardless" and finally when he says: "Nothing's like before"
If you did it on purpose it was a good idea and it fit really well into the story.
Keep writing, and I'll read it.

Author's Response: I did, actually, at least for Ginny's dialogue. *hands over cookie* Now that you point out Draco's reply, that is another line, isn't it? *hands over another cookie* I was quoting the song in another fic, and I thought it fit this story. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

fantastic story! i absolutely loved it.
while the ending was really sweet and wonderful, i did feel like the last part of it was slightly fast-paced. are you planning on a sequel?
regardless, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: I wasn't originally planning on a sequel. It initially felt finished to me, and my beta felt it was good as is. Maybe after I finish my current fic, I'll revisit this 'verse, but I hadn't planned for more.

Woooooooooooooooooooowwww.I can't believe you finished it so soon, but it was fitting. It was like a short-story of sorts, and I loved it. You're amazing, and I hope you write more really really soon.
I felt so bad for Draco when he realized that the only way for Voldemort to "deal" with Lucius is to kill him. It's terrible. I hate Lucius, but he'll have no idea that that is even coming... Great job.
