A little lighter than Firewhisky :) But still dark, and I love the alternate versions of the HP world that you present. I also love that you managed to present a D/G story that seemed believable amidst such a dark world. For some reason, I really, really liked that Draco didn't do anything more heroic beyond a kiss- it simply isn't in his character. And I loved that romance wasn't the main driving force in the fic- Draco had to think about other things, plan other things. And Ginny was the same way. Thanks for a not-Romeo-and-Juliet-all-they-care-about-is-each-other fic!

Author's Response: Seamus is, unfortunately, dead (he was disguised as Theo, and infiltrated Death Eater headquarters and planted a bomb). But that allows Draco to approach Ginny without any competition! Thanks for reading!

I'm pretty sure the lyrics for the song are "take your cap and leave my sweater". I don't see what a cat has to do with weathering a relationship (whereas a cap would be involved in weather), and yet all the sites that have the lyrics for the song say it's cat. Anyway, just thought I'd mention that.

your story doesn't really make sense.
well the plot at least... its all really mixed up together.
Author's Response: Well, the basic plot is that Draco is a spy, and Ginny and Seamus are Order members who are disguised as Death Eaters (Daphne and Theo). For further protection, Ginny was sent to live with Draco, pretending to be his girlfriend, but when she found out that he liked her, she got flustered and left. But in the end she realizes that she liked him all along, hence never giving him back his sweater. Hope that clears things up for you!
