I'm incredibly impressed with this fic. As others have said, the whole idea of it was creative and new. It was powerful and realistic. :)

(ok, I have a few knit picks, but I'll state the good first, especially since there was a lot of it)

That was surely a unique view that it would end up being Muggle's VS Wizards after Voldermort's actions. I also loved that this was more than a "Ginny turns to booze to get over her problems" fic. I am very glad I read this.

Now, my one major knit pick.

I truly doubt that an atomic bomb would have been warranted here, and even if it were, the geneva convention bars any country from using a WMD unless certain conditions (that I'm not sure of what are) are met. I would really would have had nothing at ALL bad to say about this if you had gone with something a bit more conventional. Bare in mind however I still loved the story, I just wanted to bring that up, and I really hope you do not take offense to my open political views.

That premise alone (of Muggles turning out to be the real villains) was intriguing and original enough for me to read the entire thing straight through. But I appreciated seeing Ginny in a new shade. I liked (mistakenly?) believing she was an alcoholic for most of the fic, and I loved the nihilistic/totalitarian/bleak end of the fic. What a lovely, apocalyptic way to end a lovely, apocalyptic story.

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! And yes, people were supposed to believe that Ginny was an alcoholic until it was revealed that Firewhisky had no effect on her.

Reading this story again, for probably the 5th or sixth time, I noticed a slight error.

I see that you changed the last few references of Ginny's name to Ginevra, but earlier on, when Draco comes across her grave, the gravestone says 'Virginia'. Maybe you'd want to change this?

Just to say, I love coming back to read this story. It's a touching tale, no matter how bitter the tragedy.

Author's Response: That was intentionally done. See, the Muggles would never let a witch be buried in 'their' land, so Ron made it seem like she was a Muggle. Since 'Ginevra Weasley' is definitely not a Muggle name, Ron changed it to 'Virginia Wesley' so she could be properly buried. That's why Draco's so upset, but at the end, the Firewhisky's magic changes it back to Ginevra Weasley! So everything's okay.rnrnThank you for reading!

How can I tell... It was sad, funny, romantic... and twistedly hopeful.

Oh, that is so sad. What happened to Harry and Hermione, though? Oh, that was good, but so so sad!!!

Author's Response: They're still trying to negotiate with the Muggles, but things are starting to get out of hand. Thank you for reading!

woah... very powerfully written, and, unfortunately, probably a very realistic interpretation. Loved it... it was the kind of story that made me want to cry, with no reason I could think of immediately...

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! (And if you still want to cry, eat a blueberry scone - it works wonders on your happiness level!)

That was really incredible. I loved the way you skipped around, but it wasn't confusing at all, it was really clear. The theory of Wizards fighting Muggles is one I haven't heard before, and I think it's really ingenius. Thank you for writing such a wonderful fic, I would love to see it turned in to an audio fic. Cheers!

Author's Response: Wow, an audio fic would be so cool... Thanks for reading!

dark and angsty! love it! I am especially glad at least someone is willing to avenge the loss of their world! Crazy how when put into current day prospective you can draw so many similarities.... evach side thinking that their way of life is best... only to have another come in and anhialate everything they stood for... thank you.

Author's Response: No, no. Thank YOU!

I thought the plot was very good though I got abit confused.

Ron shook his head. r0;No, when she makes up her mind, therer17;s no stopping her. Did she know? About you, I mean.r1;

r0;No. She might have, but I doubt it.r1;

Know what about Draco? Did he lose his magic too? Is that why she gave him Firewhisky? Or that he can't hold his alcohol or something? But he can drink Muggle whisky! I don't understand...Oh well.

Peace, no war!

Author's Response: Sorry for the confusion. Ron's asking if Ginny knew that Draco liked her. The answer is that she did. (And I'm implying that she liked him back; that's why she gave him the last drop of Firewhisky in the world, instead of drinking it herself.)

A very heartfelt story. I felt his pain... you're a wonderful writer if you can convey emotions like that.

Author's Response: Thanks for the compliment! It means a lot, since I am new to writing fanfics.

That was beautiful in a way that i would never be able to describe. I'm speechless at the state of the world and the supressed pain of Draco. Wonderfully written!
