oh my god. I literally could not stop reading this story. I do hope that you'll update this story sometime in the future. It's such a gripping story and their relationship is so beautiful.

I was reluctant to read past this point. They're finally back together - yay! But I know everything will get mucked up again soon. ;)
So I checked the end of the last chapter to see if there were any important author's notes, and noticed that this story is getting an overhaul. So I'll sit tight here on the edge of the Grand Canyon, and wait for you to work your magic. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The rewrite project... well, basically, here's what happened. For a number of reasons, I decided that I was going to write my original novel based on the fanfics, Death Train. But I'd still like to finish a few fics, this being one of them.

So just in case anybody is reading this... NYT is the first of my long, unfinished fics that is in line for a major reboot. The revised version will be shorter, much more cleaned up, and a much better fic, I think. Then it'll be finished! :) Watch for it soon.

Phew! Finally caught up! Loving this story. Sadly, I have to get back to work, so this will be short. In a nutshell -- I enjoyed this, really want to know what happens next, and hope Ginny will find a way to reunite with Draco!

As much as it's easy to think Draco was being selfish, it's also easy to understand his confidence. He really thought there was no risk; he really thought she would say she loved him. Poor boy.
I hope something can be worked out for them.
Author's Response: He did think so; in fact, he was absolutely sure. But the current Draco was terribly afraid of what Ginny would think when she found out about that particular bargain, which kind of does make sense. :P

Silly Draco. You think he would have learned from Bella and Edward that you just can't get rid of persistent females. He's so "I can handle it" (when really he can't), but he doesn't seem to understand that Ginny /knows/ she can't handle not being with him. Why else would she have gone through hell and back to find him?
Author's Response: Looking back on this, I think that deep down, he did understand the depths of Ginny's bond with him. But Draco can be pretty determined when it comes to the hopeless nobility attempts. ;)

The Cedric thing was kind of weird. I'm kind of glad I have read the Twilight books so I actually knew what you were on about. That being said, I do like the fact you used that to illustrate how much Draco actuallt feels about Ginny. There seems to be a suggestion something very bad is about to happen, though. Draco is being noble again (or thinking about it, anyway), and that is never a good sign.
Author's Response: Yeah, I know... I'm not sure. If I revised this, I honestly don't know if I would include it. However, I do think that it helps to illustrate some of Draco's emotions. And yes, Draco is making those hopeless attempts at being noble, isn't he?

Oooh, I get so far and then I have to go to bed because I have work tomorrow and need at least some sleep. I should have stopped at the last chapter because this one has raised way too many questions. Something is definitely up with Draco, and why won't he tell her about Lucifer?
Author's Response: I don't know... if I revised this, I would probably just get rid of Cedric, because he really doesn't have much of anything to do with this. You could leave him out and it really wouldn't change anything. OTOH, I guess it's kind of amusing. Anyway, yes, there's something up with Draco, all right. You'll find out... ;)

You're right, I had to, er, squint through this one a bit, but I got there! *waves banner of victory* Does this make me the very, very harmless smut conqueror? Hrm, doesn't quite have the ring I'm going for.
In any case, I should let you know that I almost had a panic attack back there. I was so certain Ginny had done it right, and then you went and threw that scene at us, and I pretty much lost it and would have started doing my best Luke Skywalker impersonation, but then you turned it around again. And thank goodness you did! I wonder how long this 'nice' moment will last, though.

Anyway, maybe I should send you the cleaned-up version of Chapter 67. :) I went over it again, and that's quite smutty too. Smuttier than this chapter, actually. I really love those angels. They make me laugh every time they say their big 'speech'.
I really hope Ginny made the right decision, and I get a feeling she may have. You really can't trust Lucifer, but perhaps he wanted her to keep going, which would mean she hasn't chose the right thing. . .

This chapter was, wow! For one thing, I couldn't stop giggling at the Through the Looking Glass references. You really got that Red Queen down! For another, Lucifer was sneaky and amusing as always (and I was totally getting Blue Caterpillar vibes from him). And I have to say I really liked the scene between Ron and Harry, even though it was actually really sad.
But my favourite had to be the scene between Draco and Ginny. I'm glad she found him, and also glad her stubborness made him relent--as only Ginny can do. As much as I think his noble desire to leave her is probably a good thing, I still want their romance to work, so I'm with Ginny. She should break those orders.
Author's Response: I really liked this chapter, as I recall... and I knew that Ginny would have to find him, eventually, and that he'd have to give in. Yes, Draco does have some very good reasons to want her to leave him, but you just know that she's not going to pay any attention to those... ;)

Loved this chapter! You make me like Ron, which is very rare for me, but I think it actually has to do with the way other author's treat him and just use him as a plot device rather than seeing him as an actual person.
Anyway, I'm very curious to see just how Ginny manages to find Draco. I would just be feeling really, really confused right now if I were her (which she obviously is), but something has to happen.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm usually not that crazy about fanon-Ron either, actually-- he just never seems to be all that interesting. But I liked the way that I saw him in this fic; he truly cares about his sister, which is one of the qualities that I liked best about him in canon. Ginny does feel extremely confused about what's going on with Draco at this point, but yes, something does have to happen. There are a number of things she doesn't know, but she's going to find out... ;) And, oh yeah, I just remembered.... there's a little bit of Chapter 57 that you might have to squint through. Just an eentsy teentsy bit.

Oooh, this chapter was fantastic. You do have a way to intertwine smut and make it work with the story line, . . Like many have been telling me.
This was wonderful. And the story is becoming very interesting.
I will, however leave now for I have to sleep, but I expect to return as soon as my life permits. ;)
Like I said in every other review this /does/ sound promising.

AND made me want to read some Blaise/George. For your mental sake (while reading these reviews) there better be some decent stories with them around the interwebs. ^___~
Author's Response: I don't honestly know if there's a lot of B/G out there or not, but I just got an extremely strong image of them together. In Aniseworld, Blaise is always ambiguous in his sexual preferences at the very least, and I just have a very hard time seeing George as straight (although it has happened-- QatD's George was one.) Let me know if you find any B/G!
