Author's Response: Dashboard Confessional is better than drugs. Seriously. And thanks for the review.

I never thought that I'd find a fully compliant DG fic that I loved- obviously I was wrong. I love how you told the story through the objects in Hagrid's coat. You should definetly continue with this idea...it's pretty sweet.
Kudos!

Author's Response: I never thought I could WRITE a fully compliant DG fic that was acceptable. I am fully of the belief that JKR wrote the epilogue on PURPOSE to foil fanfiction authors. And it's definitely a one-shot, so no more awesome things Hagrid has in his coat, but I'm glad you liked it enough to want more. :) Thanks!

What in interesting way to tell the story. I've never seen anything like this. It was wonderful.

Author's Response: Thanks! And also, I can't believe you read my fic, because I love your stuff. I am honored. :)

This was really nice; a different point-of-view than usual, which is nice, and a sad, but realistic ending.

Great job.

Author's Response: The realistic part is what makes it sad. And yet again, I [censored] hate that [censored] epilogue. It made sticking to canon and writing D/G entirely incompatible. Thanks for the review. :)

this was very beautiful - simple, elegant, and utterly moving.

thank you.

Author's Response: You're welcome. And I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I forgot that Hagrid's coat was made of moleskin! That is a great idea to use it! Very cool. There could be another whole series with Hagrid and his moleskin coat. ;-)

Author's Response: That would be amazing, with every chapter being about another thing he has in the pockets! But I am obviously far too lazy to attempt this. :) Glad you liked it, though.

Thanks a lot! You already got me crying over Fred and George and I just started! Shame on you! (joking)

I loved it. It was just breath taking and I loved how it was in Hagrid's view. Kudos to you! Wonderful job.

Author's Response: I bet you cash money that more tears were shed for Fred Weasley than for Dumbledore. *sniff* Thank you for reading.

This is so sad, but so beautiful as well. I love that you tell it from Hagrid's POV, which gives him so much more depth than what JKR shows us in the books. Bravo!

Author's Response: I love Hagrid. JKR obviously tried to kill him off so many times in DH and just couldn't do it, and I understand completely. :P Thanks for the review.

This is wonderful! But the beginning part about Fred and George makes me so very very sad. George turning his head to the left waiting for a response from Fred? T.T *sobs* I'm still not over it.

Author's Response: I can't believe she killed Fred. Seriously. It was absolutely uncalled-for. *cries*

I love the plot thread of Hagrid's moleskin coat...something that's been in the books for ages, but you really gave it some meaning! Excellent writing and intruiging story!

Author's Response: I just read the bit about the moleskin pouch and for a second there I thought Hagrid had randomly given Harry a piece of his coat, which would have been weird. And then it hit me. Thanks for reading!

I really enjoyed this.  I liked seeing things from Hagrid's POV.  And the whole part about George, especially the part where he looked to his side and was waiting for Fred's reply-wow.  That really got to me.  Excellent job.

Author's Response: Thanks, I appreciate it. And I know, the whole Fred and George dynamic through the books made me wonder how George would get on without Fred. And the thought depressed me a LOT.

I was listening to Hey There Delilah while I was reading this. And I have no idea why, but it seemed to fit so well. Not necessarily the lyrics but the music. Very well written and very believable.

Author's Response: Thank you. And I LOVE Hey There Delilah, and my little sister was playing it obsessively when I wrote this. Coincidence much?

Wow...I liked that. It was different in a good way. It was totally believable to could have taken place in the book. I think that Hagrid would keep something like that to himself...I would love to see some more from this line. Perhaps what Draco done after he left and she chucked the necklace or if she ever went to find it...

Author's Response: I can't write more, I'd start bawling. Plus, that thrice-darned epilogue has pretty much tied my hands as far as D/G goes. Which is sad.

That is so depressing. Wow.
*walks off, shaking head*
Enjoyable read.

Author's Response: Ha, thanks. It depressed me to write it, but I'm glad you liked it. :P
