This is such a great story. It has all three of my fav. characters in it, even though one has not shown his face completly. I hope you update soon.

Author's Response: I'm trying to update. College and working is just killing me. Hope you check back.

zomg this is amazing! do not update tomorrow I have a project due soon and must concentrate! of course being on dracoandginny shows how much I don't want to do it :) again, zomg this is amazing, I really like the flow of dialogue.

Author's Response: I'm glad you love the story so much. No need to worry on the update, obviously. It's coming.

I have to say, this is one of the best fics I have read in a great while! I was hooked even at the first paragraph; although there wasn't half as much dialogue as I was expecting in the opening chapter, your vivid depictions of the characters' actions and emotions more than made up for it!

I am particularly fond of the constant banter between Draco and Ginny. It seems to have its own niche in their relationship, and I love how you are able to make me feel their reactions as they pursue the quit wit of each other's company. You also seem to do so without entirely losing Draco's aristocratic background and Ginny's blunt manner. In addition, I am quite excited to see where the undertones of Tom Riddle lead to!

You are a fantastic author, and well worth the wait of future updates! Although, I must humor myself and ask you to update soon! =] I'm entirely positive that quick updates would not marr your incredible talent with words, nor my penchant for them!

Author's Response: I'm hurrying! Haha. I have a few other things to take care of before I can devote the time to the next chapter. But thank you so much. This review completely made my day. The banter is so important to their relationship. It keeps the fire going that they both need. I look forward to hearing from you further.

Wow, this was an odd chapter. First off, I hate you just a little bit for not letting your faithful readers peep at Draco and Gin's first time together. Not everyone's comfortably writing smut though, I understand that, but with your writing skills I assumed I'd be getting a beautifully written scene. You've documented the nuances of their connection so well, that I feel kind of left out...

Whatever, I don't want to crush you under the weight of my expectations. :)

Stil, what I referred to as odd is this: it seems sort of disconnected from the previous flow of the story, after having been devoted exclusively to focusing on the G and Dness without a mention of Tom Riddle, to suddenly have him come back so strongly.

The flashback of the end of the war, and I assume, Harry's death, also seemed out of place. I understand that you're trying to take the plot in a new direction, or maybe the direction you intended all along, but it just seems kind of abrupt. I think it wouldn't have seemed so if you'd gone back to G and D at the end, in a present time normal scene.

Anyway, I hope you realize I'm being specific in my reviews because I love your story, I'm not trying to be nitpicky and obnoxious!

I think you're a fantastic writer. ^_^

From your chapter notes it seems you're not a regular updater, though, so I guess I'm glad I got to read this far, and can only hope to have a speedy update. ^_^

Author's Response: I do appreciate your review, very much in fact, but I ask patience. I am very fond of writing smut, to be blunt, so you will get what you crave. But this shift was necessary here. It'll reconnect, I promise. The abruptness is important to Tom. That will, I hope, become more apparent and understandable in time. I hope my writing is more to your liking in the future.

I'm glad they worked it out! It was kind of a stupid fight, anyway, and was easily resolved. I'm enjoying this story tremendously, and I think you've done a great job, but I have one nitpick.

I'm not sure I agree with one aspect of your characterization of Draco, and it's his willingness to commit so quickly. Even for a normal couple those first dates are filled with uncertainty, and people dance around the fact that their starting a relationship. Draco has said "our relationship" several times, and it sounds like he's totally open about wanting something serious, almost naively so. For someone as fiercely independent and enigmatic as Draco, it seems odd that he would be so forthcoming as to surrender to Ginny so easily. You might argue that they both know what they want, but still, Draco would seem to me like the type to be reluctant to put a lable on things so early on. Even if he did want her for something permanent, the relationship would start without him actaully SAYING so several times. I dunno. It's just my perception of things.

But anyway, like I said, it's a wonderful story, and I am enjoying it immensely. ^_^

Author's Response: I would normally agree with you. A normal Draco would flee from a relationship as quickly as he could. This Draco, however, is not the normal. He has lost too much to not take such an opportunity as Ginny offers. If you want the usual, irritatingly-fearful-of-committment Draco, you'll have to wait for another of my fics to make it up here, I'm afraid.

Ha! I had a silly little smile on my face, and I didn't even realize it until I stopped reading just now. Loved the interaction between G and D! It's all so superficial though, I can't wait to see what happens when their inner demons start to slip out.

Author's Response: I often have that silly little smile on my face when I'm writing. I'm happy that was translated to you.

Ah, I'm in love with this story, and with your writing. ^_^

I love how easily you switch from one perspective to the other, and how layered your characters are. Beautifully done.

Author's Response: Haha. I am so glad the switches seem effortless.

I really liked this first chapter. It was a very interesting start. Your style of writing is very rich in description, but doesn't feel loaded with words, as can sometimes happen when you give a lot of details. It's just easy to read.

I empathized with Ginny and enjoyed your description of Draco very much. Nice start. ^_^

Author's Response: Thank you. It is a fine line. I often wonder if I'm tipping over.

The more you write the more I'm hooked. This was a great chapter, I'm glad to see that Draco and Ginny are enjoying a new relationship but that they haven't abandonned their natural fires. Great work. More soon? Please.

Author's Response: I wish I could promise you a certain time until the next chapter. I work as quickly as my life will allow. I'm glad you're still enjoying. It's a reader like you that keeps me writing in my rare down time.

Its as if Voldie's soul was that thing that knocked her onto her back. I also have this crazy notion that she's become some sort of vessel for his soul.

Author's Response: If it was Voldemort's soul entering her that knocked her down, wouldn't it imply that she had become some sort of vessel for his soul?

Yay your back!

And finally, there is some resolution to that cliffy you left us with! Draco and Ginny have a lot of things they need to work on, but I have a feeling that many of their own individual problems will be better solved with the help and support of the other. Don't keep us waiting too long for the next installment. :)

Author's Response: So glad you're still reading! Don't worry. I won't keep you waiting. I feel bad enough as it is so I have to make up for it.

No! I hate cliffies!

Author's Response: Sorry, love. This cliff has lasted far too long. Hopefully with the ending of this school quarter I'll be able to update more.

OMG! Haha, it's fate. Looks like Ginny is going to have her chance to put her plan in motion. I will just keep hoping that she doesn't botch it up anymore than it already is. Great chapter. And all is forgiven as long as you continue! Until next time, I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat.

Author's Response: Thank you for the forgiveness. It is very much appreciated. And you know Gin, she has a tendency to get herself into a bit of trouble but her heart is always in the right place. She'll manage. Hopefully I'll have an update soon.

And they meet again. :) I can most definitely see Draco being that snappish and abrupt at not getting his own way, especially when he's in a bad mood. That short scene in the coffee shop has his character spot on.

And what a wonderful friend Seamus is. Every girl needs a friend to rant to in an unintelligible rush of words, and to receive advice from. It's cool seeing Seamus fill this role. I can see Ginny visibly slumping in relief when she hears Seamus' rationalisations about things not being as bad as they seem.

Hope that there'll be a new chapter up soon!

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad the characterization was well done. That is a great compliment to recieve. And yes, womankind would be very lucky if we all had a Seamus. He's one of my favorites.

OMG OMG!!!!!Things were going so great and I knew it wouldn't last long but I never thought they wouldn't even make it through the first date?! But I guess there are some things that need to be aired and old prejudices need to be confronted. This was a beautiful chapter even though it was the "bump" in the road. Will be waiting for your next add. :)

Author's Response: To be honest, I never thought they wouldn't make it through their first date. Just goes to show that I'm just the messenger. Just goes to show that the story will be written how it is meant to be written. Glad to keep hearing from you.

Very cute. A while ago I was checking out some wine books at a bookstore and a guy came over and asked me if I'd like to go to a wine tasting. This kinda reminded me of that.

Author's Response: I love that. So glad you can connect on a personal level with the chapter.

AWWWWWWWWWW so cute....update sooner!

Author's Response: Haha. Update sooner? I already update every six days. Surely that's quickly enough. (Between you and me, there's another fic in the works. So perhaps you'll have a different story to update while waiting for this one.) Glad you enjoyed.

The first date is a hit and now the prospect of a future is looking bright! Great work, I'm still skeptical about the good times lasting but we'll see, only future chapters will tell.
I'll be waiting (im)patiently!

Author's Response: Each is so enjoying having someone. They're keeping things simple and so times are good. As things progress... that won't always be true. Aye, the drama ahead. Glad you're enjoying and, as always, love to hear from you.

THIS is a really good story, it took me forever to find one again, they're so rare these days ;)
Please continue writing, it's just wonderful

Author's Response: I have no plans whatsoever to stop. I'm flirting with a few ideas for another fic, however. If that starts, this one may not be updated quite so frequently. We'll see. Thank you for the compliment. It means a lot.
