Beautiful!

Wonderful concept. I love how fluidly you write and how well you use imagery. I know this sounds prissy, but I applaud the fact that the concept of 'his hands' was used throughout the whole piece, tying it all together. Not very many authors can do that. Very well done. n_n
I guess all I can really say now is simply this: I loved it!
:D

Beautiful and haunting. I loved this.

She pitied all those who had never known what it was to be loved by a murderer.

This line disturbed the hell out of me, but it was fitting.

Every description of his hands and how they used them on her just made my heart melt. This is an excellent bitter-sweet one-shot. Well done.

I wouldn't even bet it was a first piece, you made me hungry for DG as I haven't been in over a year.

"She pitied all those who had never known what it was to be loved by a murderer."
I love the sentiment and its so very rare to find it stated too... i guess its just one of those unspoken things you kind of feel and think about but never quite really point out. Its a perspective thing isn't it, some would find it disturbing but i find it...hmmm kinda nice because when one can disregarded something so completely then be able to love, in a way the love would have a certain driving intensity and ack i can't even explain it...haha so sorry for the blah and rambling. Totally loved this bit of D/G heaven! Thanks! see ya!

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, you've definitely hit upon the feeling I was trying to convey with this. I think it's a much greater accomplishment for a selfish person to sacrifice everything for love, rather than a person who's already willing to sacrifice everything for everyone else. Harry is risking his life, but not for Ginny alone. With Draco, Ginny knows she's the one person in the world who could drive him to such emotion that he'd give anything for her. I think being the object of such a love creates an intensity that's unparalleled. I'm glad you liked this so much, thank you for the great review. :)

Wow. For a first time writer that was really good. Heck, that was just plain good! I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading the other two pieces!!

Author's Response: Thank you! The response I have gotten for this series is absolutely amazing and so much more than I ever imagined. Every review just makes me smile. I'm very glad you liked the story. :)

Loved it! I read "Traitors" and that was amazing as well!

Author's Response: Thank you! A large section of Traitors was actually originally written into this story, but then I decided to leave their history for another day and let this one be all about the emotion. I'm glad you liked both.

Do you know what my favorite part of this was? The fact that she knows it's going to end... and not with a happily ever after. The whole tone of the story was bittersweet, which only reemphasized this point. I think that sometimes a woman will take whatever she can from a man she loves but can’t really have. I’m sure it works the same way for men as well. Painful, yeah… Which is fabulous because my most favorite aspect of reading and writing is digging deep into the emotions of the characters. The more I can feel it, the better it is – in my humble opinion. So, aside from a few small grammatical things, this was a lovely story. Very well done for a first fic!! :o)

Author's Response: Thank you, that's exactly what I was going for. They can't have forever, but they want each other so badly they'll steal whatever time they can. I'm glad you liked the story, thank you for leaving such a nice review.

I usually don't do one-shots but this is an awesome fic and i just love it

another chapter to tell us what became of them after the downfall of w/e side would have been great but*shrugs* oh well

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. There wasn't supposed to be another chapter but, there will be. :) I'm waiting for it to be aproved right now, so keep an eye out for it. It's another brief glimpse, but it pretty much tells you what happened to everyone after the end. Thank you for your review!

If this really is your first fic, then you absolutely *must* continue to write! This is a great piece -- a unique take on the predictable "good girl/bad boy" theme, with a tone that's true to the characters. I hope to see more from you, and soon!

Author's Response: thank you! the next two stories in the series, His Hands and Traitors, are now up.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, I'm very glad you liked it. :) I wasn't actually planning on continuing, but it seems that I will be anyway, lol. There should be a companion coming soon, I'm just waiting for it to get approved right now.

This is a lovely piece; your narrative is heartfelt and wonderful. Its only a snapshot of a moment but the feelings are very much alive. I can only imagine how this story would be as a full novel. :) I hope to read more from you soon~!

Author's Response: Thank you! I don't know about a novel, but there will be a companion for it coming soon. I'm glad you liked the story and thank you so much for reviewing. :)

this story is so lovely...its so sad, yet theres true emotion in the woman...whom im supposed to assume is ginny, right? you never actually say so. :) i really want to know what you had in mind for afterwards: is one of them going to die? or are they going to be incredibly lucky and live the rest of their lives together?

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, it is Ginny. I didn't really want to put names in cause I felt like the piece was really all about what they were rather than who they were. As for afterwards, I've just submitted the sequel for this, so it'll be out as soon as it gets approved by the archive. I'm glad you liked the story. :)

VERY nicely written! I know it was written as a one shot... but maybe those hands will make another appearance?

Author's Response: Ask and you shall receive. I've just submitted a companion piece for it, I'm just waiting to get approved. Thank you so much for the review, I'm glad you liked the story enough to want to read more! :)

WOW! That was amazing. I really enjoyed the way you can sense her & in some way his own love for the other. You have an amazing talent for writing .

Author's Response: Thank you!! I'm glad you liked it. There should be a companion piece for it coming any day now.

Well. It was sweet and fluffy, and I loved it. And it was icky and slightly morbid and I disliked it. So, basically, good job; you've made me conflicted, which usually doesn't happen.

Author's Response: I'm glad I could cause the conflict. I really wanted to keep him bad and her good and show that they could still honestly love each other. Thank you for the review!

Oh gosh it's your first piece no wayy!
If you feel it's a one time thing well then you did great and your retirement will be confy, this is great

Author's Response: Thank you! Actually, I was inspired to write another. The companion to this should be coming any day now. I'm glad you liked it. :)

A nice start. Your characterization of Draco wasn't sappy, as some are wont to do, and I like how you described Ginny's indifference to Harry. Keep writing!

Author's Response: Thanks! I feel like Ginny would honestly get bored of Harry really quickly if they were together for a while. I'm glad you liked it. :)

You did a wonderful job. The story was poignant without being long-winded, and clearly executed.

Write more.

Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to keep it short and simple, I'm really glad you liked it. Hopefully there will be a companion piece soon. :)
