I think you should have had Draco say something that was not contrite.
Like, "Honestly, I don't know if I can." And then have him walk away somehow as the snow drifted down on her.

Ooh! This was so fun! I like how you didn't spell out their relationship at the beginning. How even though it was a short piece, my mind tried taking me through several variations of what it could possibly be. And poor Draco! Ginny needs to be kinder to his heart, I think. A tragic misunderstanding and a festering wound. So terribly sad. "...he wished he could simply wipe away the hurt and resentment he felt, but it wasn’t that simple." I love that you left it unresolved. (And Luna's veil was a lovely touch.)

I loved this when I read it at Christmas, and I still love it now. I can't blame Draco for feeling a bit put out. Ginny did him wrong! The ending was perfect!

Very well written. It was interesting to see the rather subdued ending, as many of these types of fics go for an all-out fluff fest. It's much more believable this way; Draco was jilted at the altar and it will take a bit of time for him to overcome that and be prepared to propose for a second time.
Any chance of having a sort of sequel to this? Hm, although it's quite nice having the ending stay as it is, I would love to see more D/G interaction in this 'world', if you see what I mean.
It's always nice to see an update from you. 'The Pursuit of Happiness' and 'Anniversary' are two of my favourite fics.

EVIL. How can you do that. Just I don't know (kill it) stop so suddenly. The end is so open either to them having the huge family wedding or him just ignoring her for good and making her hurt... Amazing as everything else you write is. I guess that I should join the first reviewer in asking for more, pretty please with huge amounts of chocolate and ice-cream.
