She became the person he said she would be. Sad really, but really a lovely story. Fantastic. The reader doesn't even miss the back story that goes with this little glimpse. Fun.

So sad! But it's true...it happens.

Ginny is scared of leaving the predictable life Harry has to offer. She thinks she'll give up too much to be with Draco when she's not even sure where it's going and if he's worth the sacrifice. But she doesn't see that by choosing Harry she gave up the chance to be herself and that's a price no person should have to pay.

Thanks for the story =)

Poor, stupid, Ginny.

I really like your characterization of Draco. It feels spot on. The boy certainly has matured since the end of the War; it's inevitable that he's learned to resign himself to whatever the Fates have in store for him.

I love the angsty atmosphere and the undertone of impending doom. It's almost as if you can tell she'll leave him, as much as you don't want it to happen.

That was excellent. Completely believable, and explained so much! haha

Thank you, for opening my eyes and making me see a side of Ginny I've never seen before. And I hated her, for her 'goodness' I have always wondered why Ginny was never herself around Harry, and now I know why.

Oh, you're good at this, girl. She did deserve much more than what she got in the epilogue. It is a sad thing Rowling didn't share this idea.

Wow, this is magnificently haunting. Really great job here. I'm so impressed :)

Excellent story. And it was sad. She became the "Ginny" that Draco despised.

Author's Response: I think she finally let that Ginny completely take over. She wanted to please everyone else so badly, she ended up suffocating herself, metaphorically, with their wants. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This was really well crafted! I love the ending, as sad as it is, I always thought that Ginny would have wanted to name her son after "Fred" because Harry already got the dibs on the name the first time. But she doesn't and like Draco, I really hate 'Ginny' too.

Author's Response: Thank you! The boys' names bothered me SO much, I had to write an explanation for it. I'm glad you enjoyed the story :)

I didn't expect that to be so sad and bittersweet. I do agree, Ginny deserved so much more from the entire series and what you've written perfectly shows how she cheats herself around Harry. Wonderfully insightful!

Author's Response: That is exactly what I was trying to convey with this. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, thank you so much for the wonderful review! :)

wow ginny was a loser.

Author's Response: I definitely feel like she was rather bland in DH. She had no real personality, certainly not the one we'd seen earlier throughout the other books. As for her behavior in my story, I really do think most girls would have behaved like Ginny did, if placed in a situation where the man they love is absolutely abhorred by everyone they care about. To have a guy your mother, father, siblings, friends, and former boyfriend (mankind's hero) would all tell you is scum would be very daunting. I think most girls would take the safe route and choose Mr. Perfect rather than the Scumbag. We all know she would have been happier with Draco, though :'(

Ginny Potter really did lose herself in Harry. Too bad for her in the end, I loved the insight you let Draco have in regards to Gin. GJ, all around.

Author's Response: Thank you. I think Draco has a talent for running his mouth and telling people things they don't want to hear. He's cruel, but also mostly accurate, even in the books, I think. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, thank you for the great review! :)

“I do,” he agreed with rage. “Ginny is a star struck little girl who wants Harry Potter because he’s Harry Potter and she doesn’t know a thing about him. Ginny is Potter’s dream girl because she’ll marry him and have his children and never complain that she wanted more in life than to be Harry Potter’s wife or the person who made all of his dreams come true.

“She’s not a Weasley, because at least they have backbone and personality, even if the majority of it is extremely lacking. When Potter decides on something she doesn’t want, Ginny smiles and nods. I do hate Ginny, you’re right, oh how I hate Ginny.”

I love this part! its my favorite.

Author's Response: Thank you! I really do think DH was grossly unfair to Ginny and her personality. She lives out Harry's dream and, to quote another author, is essentially 'Ginny Sue.' I wanted to give her a deeper personality than that and explain why things ended like they did. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, thank you for the review! :)

Oh, that is horrible... I mean, he was so right about her and it is so horrible. Excellent writing, as always. Makes me want to go back and re-read all of you other stories. I hate how she wanted to name the boy after Fred (as would be right...why didn't JK do that?) but because he wanted to name the boy Albus Severus she did. I totally agree with everything Draco said. I HATE GINNY, but I love Gin. Okay, well, another excellent story. Please write another one soon!!! Your an amazing writer!!!

Author's Response: Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoy my stories so much, it makes writing them so much more satisfying. Not naming one of the boys after Fred really annoyed me as well. It's so completely OOC for Ginny, it's ludicrous. The same girl who mocked people for asking if Harry had a tattoo on his chest would not name her child "Albus Severus." I think JKR didn't really put any effort at all into the epilogue or Ginny. Thank you so much for the great review! :)

This is sad and wonderful at the same time.
I love it.

Oh my god!

I'm baffled.

I love how you had Draco ream her out like that.

*spluterring and flailing*

That was just so great! It explained so much in so little.

Author's Response: :D Thank you, I felt like someone had to point out all the inconsistencies of Ginny and Harry's 'love.' I'm glad you liked it!

awww. That was so sad. But rea;;y really good. I liked the last paragraph.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to 'fill in the blanks' from DH, as it happened in my head. Thank you for the review!

I like how you manage to make it completely canon compliant and include a D/G love story as well. Okay, the there is more sadness than smiles in this fic, but that works really well for the situation they are in. Last lines are heart-breaking, by the way, because they portray Ginny as a broken woman.

Author's Response: Thanks! I think Ginny was completely eclipsed in that epilogue. I'd rather think that she at least knew real love and passion, even if she didn't get a happily ever after with Draco. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Fantastic! You really captured the characters... but I didn't quite get Draco and Giny's relationship. Friends or more?

Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you thought so! In my mind, they were having an affair for the past year, but it's over now that Harry's come back because Ginny won't cause a huge uproar by defying her family and being with Draco. Thanks for the review!

i feel really bad 4 ginny!!!draco s pt of view on y harry left her nd y he finally noticed her r really believable!!nd ya sad on how such a gr8 character like ginny was thoroughly ignored in 7th book!!just realised their children were named after harry s dad,mom nd albus whom he greatly respected!!clearly HIS choice of names!!!a very well written story just like ur other ones!!

Author's Response: yeah, Harry suddenly noticing Ginny after she's dating other guys wasn't very romantic, in my opinion. I thought she was really ignored in DH too, her behavior was so OOC. The fact that Ginny incubated three children for nine months only to have Harry name all three really really annoyed me. SOMEONE's middle name should have been Fred. Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! :)
