gahh!!! that's pathetic. yet probably true to the DH epilogue. :(

Your ending is totally true! The DH epilogue drove me CRAZY because I thought Ginny would have wanted to name one of her children after Fred! There was nothing of her in that perfect package JKR gave us. Very interesting that Draco points that out (although I can't help wishing you would show us how he got into a position to know her so well). Very nice and on-point piece!

Author's Response: Yes, the names absolutely KILLED me. Her entire personality in the book killed me. I feel like absolutely no thought or effort was put into her character for that book. In my happy world, Ginny and Draco were lovers that final year while they were both at Hogwarts and she really does love him, but chooses Harry because her mother, father, brothers, Hermione, and Harry himself, would not approve. At least then, she's a person with actual emotions. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, thanks for the great review!

That was.... so true! And pretty harsh, but she could have had more in our minds. Very good, very telling.

Author's Response: I really feel like JKR clocked in Ginny's character in that last book. She could have been so much more, even if she did end up with Harry (I'm a realist, I knew D/G wasn't happening in cannon). I'm glad you liked the story. Thank you for the great review!

Author's Response: Thank you. I really feel like Ginny was ill used in Deathly Hallows. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

that was a cracker of an ending.
and then in my mind she runs away with draco! yaya
naa this was a great story and i loved their somewhat complacent relationship

Author's Response: Thank you. I WISH she had run away with Draco, or done something except be a complete Mary Sue, in book 7. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. :)
