That was so sad, but beautiful at the same time. The ending was fantastic, Ginny emptying the gun's shells; really meaningful.
I love their obliviousness of what the gun is, though it is the general knowledge of most of the Wizarding World. A wand that only performs one spell.
Well done, again. You'll be sick of my reviews soon. ;)

Author's Response: Thank you very much :) I had a great prompt o work with for this one - and I must say - I never grow tired of reviews from anyone ;)

wow, great piece. i thought ginny had shot herself. so sad at the end. u portrayed the malfoys and ron well :)

sad story. just a quick question: how old were they? including ron? just curious

Author's Response: First, thanks for the review! Second, I have no idea how old they were :-P I never really thought about it that much. I guess, if I had to say, I'd put Ginny at 18 or 19, and therefore Draco and Ron at about 19 or 20. They're young, I know, but I'm saying the war makes you age faster. Again, thanks for the review!

Wow. This was really good. Your Draco was so touching and very brave. Poor Ginny!

Hey, I'm Caramelsilver on LJ: Thank you again, so much for this fic. It's absolutely amazing. It's so different from anything I imagined and so much better than anything I could come up with (which is also the reason I never managed to write it myself.)

I love the death you gave Lucius and Narcissa. I also love your characterization of Ron. Really, I love everything. It's a wonderful fic. And the Draco's death at the end kills me everytime. Brava!

Author's Response: You have no idea how glad I am you liked this! I felt terrible because I had had to rush the ending in order to get it in. I think you had a great prompt, and it was a lot of fun for me to try to fit in as much of it as I could for you. I'm happy yu liked the Ron, and the Malfoys, I was hoping that they'd be what you wanted to see! ;-) Thanks for taking the time to review over here as well!!

I'm confused. Did she kill someone else or herself?
You're probably like of course she _____ but I am a little slow. :]
really sad :[

Author's Response: No, it's okay. She actually didn't kill anyone, she fired the gun into the ground, because she was afraid of what it had done. Sorry about that! Thanks for the review!

I second Ginny. Draco does not have permission to die! This was so absolutely depressing and I think you portrayed all of the characters perfectly without making any of them cliche or cheesy. I also truly loved your word choice, in spots where I appreciated nothing more than the descriptions you used to form images in my mind. Basically: fantastic! =D

Author's Response: Thank you! Your review was great! Thanks for reading!

That was beautiful and brought me to tears. It hit a little close to home as the girlfriend of a Marine, but you put a disturbingly pleasant spin on it.

Author's Response: Well, good luck to you. And thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked it

Bloody hell, that was depressing. He can't die. She has to save him. I decree it. Go forth and write a sequel or the next chapter or something. i love the idea of the gun as a wand that only knows one spell. That was quite inventive. good job.

Author's Response: You can only ask for so many miracles. I wrote a second chapter to Dirty Little Secret, after all. Just you wiat, I'm working on a chaptered fic, I swear it, and it'll end happy, eventually. :-P Thank you for your reviews :-)
