great chapter! I love how Draco being so angry with scoprius and then force him to buy tulips for ginny ^_^ But I rather like Lily with Scoprius than DG in this one...perhaps the next generation love can finish where the first generation left off ;)

Can I just say that Scorpius cowering before enragedDaddy!Harry was too fantastic for words? I loved that part, thought it was my favorite part of the chapter... until I read about Ginny punishing Lily with bathroom scrubbing. By hand. *grins*
You know what I'm really enjoying? The fact that you've created a story about parents, children, *real* family dynamics and behavior, and not just a one-dimensional Lily-Rose-Scorpius love polygon with angsty D/G in the background. This fic has depth. I love it.

I have really enjoyed watching this story unfold although normally I tend to shy away from stories which are D/G offspring-centric. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story develops and at this stage I think I'd be perfectly happy with however you decided to conclud the pairings :) In real life, things don't always wrap up nicely and I very much like your take on Draco and Ginny's respective marriages.

Author's Response: Well as the chapters progress, a lot of their minds change. Lily did not start out liking Scorp as more than a friend. I suppose it's a love triangle not only because Rose suspects Scorp and Lily but because of how they all act around eachother. Up till now, Scorp and Lily behave very flirtatiously around each other. If they didn't, Rose wouldn't be so jealous. I can't say too much more about whether Lily likes Scorpious right now, because that will start to be answered in the next chapter. And although it is taking a bit of time, it is coming :) However, they are two seperately married and commited people and the only time they've seen each other in twenty-six years was at the dinner party and only arranged because of their children now being friends. They will see each other several more times as Lily and Scorpius' lives get more and more tangled up in their own problems and their parents' past. It'll just be a couple chapters thrown in before they can really get anywhere. But it is coming and thank you so very much for your review! And I agree, Rose is the perfect mix of Ron and Hermione and its really starting to show...

I was watching 'Charlie Wilson's War' when I was first writing this story and there was a line about not looking both ways before crossing the street. I don't remember consciously decided Lily would run straight into traffic either, lol. She just did. I was there typing away about her fleeing from Scorpius and was like, 'hmm, where's she going to go?' and then BANG! Car. ;) Sorry though and I promise all will end well in the end, lol. I loathe rose/ scorpius (rose is a bit too much like hermione for my liking) but i kind of feel like they're going to end up getting together in the end, despite the whole kiss between scorpius and lily. I kind of felt like he was doing that just to make rose jealous, and lily doesn't really see him in the romantic light so...
Anyways I really can't wait for an update, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that ginny and draco will talk in chapter 9.

Continue to enjoy the story. I love how you made Astoria rather sweet and nice, albeit a bit clueless. It's how I picture her. Poor thing has no idea, so she's a sympathetic character, and you can see Scorpius being upset about it all. Very well done!
