Reviews For Mea Culpa

I did like the story, but i do feel like you left too much to the imagination of the reader. In this AU wold, you opened many, many cans of worms, and while your writing is stunning, I feel unfulfilled.

Author's Response: Yeah, that can happen. Unfortunately, not everyone can be pleased, and I only wanted to write a very short -angsty- story. I apologise that it left you less than sated. Thank you for reviewing though. :)

I must admit, the first time I read this I thought the child was Draco. And so I was stumped as to why Zabini would be his gardener...It was very confusing!

However after seeing your author notes, it all became clear to me! It was such a lovely story. I hated that you had to make up your mind as to what happened with everything, but I loved that you had to make up your mind as to what happened with everything!!

Only a talented writer can make a reader feel utterly confused but satisfied at the same time.

Thank you and good luck with anything else you do!

Author's Response: Yes, you don't really know who the child is until the very end when Zabini calls her "my little Ginevra". And Blaise is very OOC, being Draco's gardener and all, but then I do imply that everything that once was his was destroyed (his sister, his mother, his manor, etc), which includes his wealth.

I'm sorry it was so confusing, but I am glad that the story also satisfied you. Thank you for reviewing and wishing me luck -- I wish you the same as well. :)

I love it. At first I was really put out that more details weren't given. I just wanted to know everything! But then after thinking about it, I realized that I had already made my own connections and back story for everything. I think that to add more now would only lead to disappointment. I would always think of the way I made story as the right version (though obviously as the author you control it all) All in all this was amazing and very inspirational. Thanks :)

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your kind review! :) That is exactly the reaction I wanted: yours. I wanted the reader to come up with his or her own back-story as to how Draco and Ginny came together. Why is she not there with him, raising their child? How did Zabini and Malfoy end up in this nonconventional (for them) relationship? Only you can provide the most satisfying answers (or as you aptly put, "the right version"). Again, thank you so much for reviewing, and I'm glad this not-so-light-hearted tale inspired you. :)

o wow.
that was really beautiful! can you please write another chapter????? please i know you said you want the reader to guess and question the story but i just want to read more of this beautiful story!

Author's Response: Awww, well I am really happy that you liked the short story, but, unfortunately, I will not be adding to it. I *may*, however, write a future AU fic that is based off of Mea Culpa.

Blaise is one of my favourite characters in HP (Snape is number one) because there is so little written about him, except that he is the epitome of the model Slytherin. He is like a blank canvas to work with. I would love to work more with Blaise and also Lucius in my D/G fics, and I think I would be able to in expanding on a fic like Mea Culpa.

Thank you for reviewing -- it was very kind of you. :)
