This is so funny! I am really enjoying this fic. Usually I like stories where Ginny is more self-possessed, but I find myself dying to see how she'll actually pull off winning Draco. Then, it's also really funny to see her have all these girly, fairy-tale-esque daydreams about Draco, and then have him come along and be an absolute jerk and ruin them. It's a funny dynamic, though it does leave me hoping to see some genuine growth in both of them. And finally, I must confess, after this chapter I kind of want Ginny to end up with Goyle! Lol, I really like your Goyle. I really like your story in general, actually. :-)

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying. I know what you mean about having Ginny more self-possessed, but the prompt called for a very naive and youthful Ginny, which is what we get here. I don't think Draco would ever be able to fit a girl's romantic fantasy. He will always be a jerk and come along and ruin them. *laughs*

Haha, poor Goyle. I always feel sorry for Crabbe and Goyle being lumped together as trolls, even if they are rather trollish. I wanted to give them a bit more personality. Goyle ended up being rather sweet. I'm glad you liked him, though I don't know if Ginny could ever like him. ^_~

LOL. Even the daisies were trying to get her to see the truth.

Goyle has banana muffin breath. Horrifying.

For some reason I can perfectly visualise Ginny's cauldron knickers in my head... as she attempts to keep her face from being buried in Goyle's bum. While Crabbe flirts with her. The horror.

I love when Draco tells Ron he should try for the stage with his theatrics. Poor Ron, always the court jester.

What a fun chapter with Ginny's desperate attempt and relying upon Slytherins to play their various parts. She really is delusional. ^_^

Yes, everything was out to get her this time. The daisies, the Grindylow...but you still have to give her points for being determined.

I always imagined the cauldron knickers being white with brown or grey cauldrons on them, and a slight purplish mist emanating from the cauldrons. They're quite hideous. LOL. Poor Ron is always the court jester, but he makes it so easy. I just had to write him that way.

I adore all of you stories as you are a wonderfully talented writer; however, this short story holds a special place in my heart -- merely because of its simple elegance and humour.

Author's Response: Thank you, Lia! I'm really glad you liked this one. It's definitely not the kind of thing I usually write, at least not as a chaptered fic, which is really why I decided to take on the prompt. Writing this was like a breath of fresh air after all the dark, angsty chapters of Grey, and I think that's why I did make it crazier than usual. I just wanted to have fun with it, and I think that came through in the writing.
