Meg, I loved this chapter. It was very dramatic and sweet, yet just the right amount of both. While I agree with Kim that their peers over-reacted, it also makes perfect sense. High School students are never over-dramatic. *rolls eyes and smirks*
I like how you didn't take the easy way out and had everyone act as though it was nothing big. There is real adversary. Plus, including Lucius’ letter was a nice touch. Of course Draco’s family would never approve.
I love Draco's explanation of why he calls Ginny 'Ace'. It's very fitting. I always like it when he gives her other nicknames, ones her family or Harry don't use. It makes their relationship appear more special. He wants the part of Ginny that no one else sees -- his Ginny.
The love scene at the end was very sweet and fitting. I liked it quiet a lot. I’m not a big fan of reading or writing smut (ignore Mine, Forever), so I liked it in stories where it has always been sweet and tasteful for it to stay that way. You have stayed true to your story, which is always lovely to see in an author.
I have this feeling that you have something in store for us though. Especially when you owl me saying, “I can’t wait ‘til you read the end”. Lol. That and your Draco is too perfect sometimes. *eyes you warily* I’m onto you, Megan!
Overall, wonderful job on this chapter.

I don't like the reactions of the trio, and even if Ginny didn't need to inform them, maybe this could have been avoided if she went to Harry like he did with her and told him that she was seeing someone too.

Fantastic chapter! The trials of going to a school where everyone knows everyone (especially the infamous Draco Malfoy and the littlest Weasley). I love how Draco is completely indifferent to all the remarks but still does his best to console Ginny. And finally the girl got some good sex =) Can't wait for the next chapter!

I'm glad that Draco and Ginny are officially a couple, but a little upset that Harry and Hermione are not really talking to her, I understand why Ron's having a hard time about it!

A little disapponited that their intimate scene wasn't detailed :(

I have to admit that I feel the school's reaction is a bit extreme in some ways, but it works for the story, so let it not be said that I shall be nitpicky.

So the overly sweet fluff, the indiscrepancies, the over-reactions, I didn't think anything of them. :P Perhaps I'll write my next story for the readers rather than myself, hehe. <3

this chapter was really long, which made me REALLY HAPPY! that, and the fact that draco and ginny finally did it. it would be nice if you could go into smutty details their next time thought. :) I think you did a good job on this chapter. draco is really patient wit ginny and was really cute in being udnerstanding and not losing his patience. as for everyone else, they need to just stuff it. i really hope that ginny gets over the name-calling thing though and just hexes everyone. I've learned from experience that if you just pretend like nothing is wrong and not make a big deal out of it, other people will just learn to accept it sooner or later. i hope other people don't hurt their relationship. anyways, good chapter, and i'm anxious to see what happens next. good job and please update soon!

She was helping Draco with his DADA homework. She found that he had a hard time focusing when she was in the room.
The homework conversation was PERFECT!
THe fact that they're doing thi is simply wonderful and i loved it!

“Again with the schoolwork?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Always with the schoolwork.”
“Beauty and brains, I don’t believe the world is ready for you.” He punctuated this statement with a kiss to her cheek, and she blushed instantaneously.
Again with the being together forever and comfortable around each other!
“Love, they won’t always hate you,” he said with a reassuring smile, but this didn’t help.
Tears began to run down Ginny's face, and Draco walked over to her and pulled her into his arms.
“C’mon, Ace, don’t cry.”

I do believe this is my favorite chapter[you probably can tell since i quoted half of it here...and the other half i comented on]
i know the first time scene was rushed and i usually enjoy a throughly explained scene where we have at least very especifi kissing,touching and clothes coming off but this was so beautiful!
The meteor shower was a bonus, the clearing was truly the best place!
I have to say again: this was my favorite chapter, plus it has 2 thigns i've been antecipating forever, their first time together and admiting their relationship to the whole castle.
I would like to see her family reaction and it's a pity we didn't get to see the scene where she reads Lucius letter and i usually would hold you for that but again this chapter was TOO PERFECT and i simply can't find anythign wrong with it!
Plus the Head boy's room is better away from the house, i liked that idea!

Author's Response: Haha, you're wonderful sweetie. This chapter was very fun to write, but hard at the same time, so I'm glad the effort was appreciated. This fic is entirely just shameless fluff, so a smut scene felt out of place, thus it had to be rushed. You'll see more of the rest of the school's reaction and some more fluff next chapter. I'm afraid it might get a bit too sacharin, but what can you do? :)
