YEESSSS! NEW CHAPTER! Although I was a wee bit disappointed it was another buildup chapter, I really liked this and can't wait for more! I don't know why but Plain Ginny is starting to inspire me to not wear makeup....

Love it! A great idea for a story. Have to say that I couldn't help laugh out loud at Draco's comment that his mother would "faint" if he were to call Alan Rigby anything other than Healer Rigby. A very nice touch.

I think I've seen most every conceivable story applied to the HP universe: Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice... but it never even occurred to me to think of My Fair Lady. It's a brilliant idea. My main question was whether you were going to go with the (questionable) ending of Eliza returning to a Higgins that hadn't really changed at all. Your prologue, however, comforts me that, while there is sure to be quite a ride, in the end, everything is as it should be. :-)

Can stilettos be only two inches? I thought that they had to be at least three to qualify as stilettos.
So this is going to be "My Fair Lady" "Pygmalion," huh? I love the music and the costumes, but the story has always made me angry. Doctor what's-his-face didn't deserve to get Eliza in the end. She should have gone with Freddy. (Notice how I don't remember the name of the guy I don't like?)
