Reviews For Irrevocably Broken

(Ironically I'm reading buttercup at this very moment.)

It was a pleasure to read, I reckoned the intent was to have a strong emotional effect on the reader, and you accomplished it. I couldn't yell at ya though, it seems in bad taste to yell at one's favourite authors.

I freakin cried oh my god. You do darkfic too well.

I haven't any more to say, short review.
A blurry eyed STT

Author's Response: *hands tissues months too late* I never meant for anyone to cry. Feel a little depressed, maybe yell at me a bit. But I hope you liked it at least, tears and all.

harsh.

Author's Response: I don't know if that's good or bad. But yes, it was harsh.

Oh dear god, not very happy indeed! Wow. That was just.....wow. It was so intense and passionate. I hated it but loved it at the same time; hated the way Draco had grown up, but felt sorry for him that he couldn't see what he'd done and that moment where he tells her to close her eyes because he can't stand it that she's lost her passion. Pitiful.

But then I loved it, mainly because I loved Narcissa and her role in the story. I also quite liked the last line - obviously very sad but it was a great ending, and for a minute you can see her old self showing through for that brief moment.

Thank you for it.
xx

Author's Response: No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It certainly wasn't what I'm used to writing. But I liked the change of tone. And Narcissa was my medium in this I think, a way for me to show Draco what he had done. Not happy in the least. Thanks for the review!

My heart aches. I'm crying.

I would have liked to see Draco break a bit more, though. Dirty bastard.

Author's Response: Well, the point of the open ending was so you could imagine the pain and suffering he'll feel for the rest of his life, if that suits your fancy. Now, would you like a tissue?

Not a happy story but amazing nonetheless. Great job.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, it's quite the opposite of happy.

Wow - totally different from your Buttercup story. Love both of 'em, although this one is a little more dark and evil. Suits Draco, but I think that seeing Draco beg and plead for forgiveness would also be nice :) We know he's evil, but then we'd imagine that he can also be good! But still, very well written!

Author's Response: Yes, it is the opposite of Buttercup in every way. Thanks for reviewing!

wow this gave me some serious goosebumps & i'm sitting by the heater! LOL

it's not a happy story, but it could have been :( i'll just pretend ginny didn't answer him and so there's hope.

Author's Response: I left the end somewhat open. I wanted those who didn't want to face the reality that things were done for Draco and Ginny to be able to envision some fantastic ending where they fell in love, had little Dracos and Ginnys, and lived happily ever after. :-) Ginny could change her mind.

I liked this because it was very interesting. I liked how it centered on Draco. I can't wait to read more of your stories! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! :-)

well that was...disturbing. this is a sick, sick story. i like it.

i want there to be a happy ending, even though there's no possible way, with all the abuse and immaturity. but still...

great job!

Author's Response: I know, I know. Everyone wants a happy ending. :-) But the rest of my stories, well most of them, have happy endings. So it was high time to do one without one. I enjoy the happy ending more though. I must say. Thanks for the review!

Very dark. I think I must go read fluff after this...

I like how you brought Narcissa into this. She was very much in character, and at the same time I wanted to jump up and give her a big hug. And Draco...I can't help but be a sucker for a redemptive-seeking Draco who will never find forgiveness. He deserves this pain.

You should really write more one-shots like this, Ann. I am very impressed. ~Lia

Author's Response: You're such an ego feeder. But thank you. It's funny because everyone keeps telling me this was so dark, and you know that was the one thing I was really worried about. Narcissa was a last minute addition but I'm thankful for it because it gave Draco that final push to admit his wrongs, and then he doesn't get forgiveness. It's lovely really. I'll have to go read the fluff that I think you put up on the Review Society thread and review it. Thanks for the review. -Ann

So, I read this on FF.net and I still have the same thing to say: it was chilling but I liked it a lot.

I did hate Draco, which is a first for me, I have to say.

Author's Response: I did crucify him in this so your feelings are warranted.

I'm reminded of "I'm Yours" by rrabit, which was, just like this, beautifully written.

Author's Response: Thank you!

This is certainly going down on my list of all time D/G classics. Brilliantly written. Full justice done to evil Draco. In the end I was "He deserves that " And I liked the abrupt and open ending. I suppose he will die a slow death in despair and guilt of his actions. I think for the first time somebody has made us hate Draco so convincingly. Yes, happy endings are always preferred more but its stories like these that stay with you for long.Once again, great job Ann! Very mature writing.

Author's Response: *blushes* Thanks. I think you might be the first person to actually enjoy the ending, well not enjoy, but accept it. A lot of people want a sequel, which I don't really mind giving them. But I'm afraid they won't like that either. :S It's a conundrum. I was about to yell at you for not being on the forum but then I haven't been around lately either so I can't do that. Thanks for the reviews and for feeding my ego. It was getting hungry.

Wow! I am filled with sadness and despair. I am totally thrown. Good writing job though. This story took my breath away and I have anger with it so I know it touched a nerve. I think the story deserves a sequel. I have a lot of unanswered questions on how Draco begins the process of forgiving and healing his relationships with the women in his life...

Author's Response: I don't know if I would write a sequel to this, although I do have an idea. I want all my readers to be able to interpret it as they see fit. Plus, if I write a sequel, I'm not sure you would be much happier with that ending. There was really no way for this story to end happily. Of course, I still may write a sequel but I might hold off on it because I don't want to dash away all your hopes. :) Thanks for the review.
