Love it. Perfectly well done. Constantly referring to Draco as 'Draco Malfoy' sends an air of mystique around him. It's a very good story and I hope that it will be continued. I've been reading this for four days straight and was both disappointed and relieved when I realised that chapter 106 was not the end. I can't wait to see where Marie fits into this - I hope she hasn't been forgotten, I'm waiting for her and Draco's story :) - and I can't wait until those stubborn idiots finally figure out that they love eachother and Draco ditches Astoria. Brilliant writing. I will be waiting patiently for the next update. :D

Author's Response: Thanks so, so much! Oh, it'll be continued... don't worry! :) The next chapter is coming soon, and let's just say that a LOT happens in it.

Ooo, I come back from my holiday and discover this chapter waiting for me. Lovely!

Of course, this chapter was both tragic and tense. The scenes with Narcissa were impossibly beautiful, but in a very sad way. I can't even begin to imagine how Draco would feel seeing his mother like that. To actually see him cry was certainly soemthing.

Darn. Interrupted again. Looks like this is going to be a short review. Great chapter, anyway! I look forward to discovering what's next!

Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, this chapter was hard for Draco to get through... but let's just say that he's got even more coming up. I can honestly promise that there will be some interesting times in Chap 107, and it may be impossible to get a quote out of it that doesn't give everything away... ;)

Hello Anise! I've been without internet for a month but now I'm back! And I have 7 chapters to catch on!!!!

I'll read and review each of them with great delight.

Author's Response: Yay! Welcome back, Pitzi! :) There's been a lot going on, I'll just say that... and a lot more to come. Happy reading.

Omg!!! I can't wait for ginny to finally hear how draco really feels! Not to mention I want to hear it too, tho I've already guessed! And yay! To more answered questions!! Thanks and great as always

Author's Response: Thanks! Ginny will find out a LOT. Let's just say that many many questions will be answered, and some more might be brought up.... It's coming soon!

Nooooo a cliffhanger! Although I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to like Draco's answer to Prudence's question.. I'm betting he won't really answer at all, he has a history of slithering out of expressing his feelings and giving real answers.

If Narcissa could recognize Ginny then hopefully others will be able to as well. ALTHOUGH now that I think of it, she could get some pretty interesting info out of him if he thinks she is Astoria - what might he let slip about Lucius??

Looking forward to the next chapter as always !

Author's Response: I *love* all the different theories about exactly what Draco's going to say. He's been very slithery in the past, but he just can't expect to lie to an Immortal and get away with it-- especially not Prudence. She's known him too long! So the truth will out. OTOH, does Draco really know how to tell it? ;) We'll all find out soon... and I like your other theories, too. More soon!

good chapter and that is an interesting cliff hanger. Excited for the next chapter! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! There's much more coming up soon.

Ah! I realized I was also holding my breath at the end. Tell meeee, Draco!

I will say, though, that one little mistake stood out to me: “She’s here,” Astoria said suddenly.
I'm at least moderately certain you meant Narcissa, but I got all confused and was like, where's Astoria and why is she fucking with Narcissa, damnit?!

Author's Response: Oh, Draco's going to tell a lot more than he wants to, very very soon... ;) Um. (goes back and changes time, space, and reality) Yep, that's Narcissa. Thanks! :)

O_O Poor Ginny its times like that where eavesdropping can get ugly, I definitey am holding my breath too.

Author's Response: Yes, eavesdroppers learn many instructive things, as Rhett said to Scarlett. ;) Ginny has a lot to learn, very very soon.

Yaaaay things are making sense :')
Oh my god can't wait to hear what Draco is going to say to Prudence?! I think he doesn't really understand his feelings for Ginny yet, and Prudence's insistence for an answer may help him understand and then maybe, just maybe, he might admit them to Ginny?
But I still don't understand the whole 'Marie' business, hopefully it will come together soon!

Author's Response: Draco doesn't understand what he feels for Ginny. It's safe to say that! And it's funny that you'd say something about Marie just now.... More soon! :)

Oh I have the feeling his answer is going to be selfish and so not what Ginny wants to hear, probably because he isn't aware of his feelings himself, as of yet :
Your cliffhangers are a work of art!

Author's Response: Ooh, I like your guesses... I'm not admitting anything, of course. And anyway, you'll find out very soon! Thanks. :)

You. You are brilliant and wonderful and evil. Oh evil, evil cliffhangers.

I love the vulnerability that we were able to see in Draco in this chapter. It's a totally new view of him to be able to see him and his mother interact. I hope we see more of Narcissa in the future.

Author's Response: Thanks! :) Um... yes. I knew that was an evil cliffhanger, but it had to end there. You'll see. I thought about letting the scene go on, but if it did, it would end on an even worse cliffhanger that just didn't SEEM like one... trust me, it would have been a whole lot worse.

update soon? soon? soon?

I know brilliance takes time and I should have more patience but I'm anxiously checking back everyday!

Author's Response: Oh... thanks! :) (Um... I don't really know about that brilliance part, but thanks anyway.;) I'm working on the next chapter. Never fear.

Ooo, what an interesting chapter. I'm very curious to know why Narcissa has been shut away like this - it seems like Draco has been searching for her for a long time. But is it really Narcissa? I've come to never accept the obvious, but then perhaps this time there is no trick.

In any case, I enjoyed this chapter. The conversation between Prudence and Ginny was both moving and enlightening. I wonder if Ginny will ever realise that what is really driving her is love.

Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, it's really Narcissa. And she's been down there for quite awhile. As Ginny guessed, he's suspected that she was still there, but he hasn't been absolutely sure-- and, of course, the worst part for him was that he hadn't been able to find his way in. Ginny definitely has some realizations on the horizon! More soon...

That last scene was written so beautifully. I almost feel Ginny's shock and awe at witnessing something so intimate and genuine. There is no question now whether or not Draco is capable of love, it is only his true feelings for Ginny that we need to uncover.
I am cringing at the thought of Draco discovering "Astoria" spying on him with his mother after he has let his guard down. I don't think his reaction would be very pretty... hopefully Ginny has a chance to explain..

Her moment with Prudence was clearly very healing for her, I know it will influence her and that it will stay with her even if these pesky memory lapses keep getting in the way! It's hard for me to keep track of what Ginny remembers and what only us readers know. I hope she breaks through and remembers some of those incriminating moments soon!

As always, I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter and loving the updates!

Author's Response: Oh... thank you! Yes, Draco does have the capacity to feel love, as much as he's had to hide the emotion. What he feels for Ginny... well, let's just say that we'll learn more about that in the next chapter. ;) And you certainly make a very good point about the possibility of Draco discovering that Ginny-as-Astoria had been there. That's all I'll say. Prudence really provided some comfort for Ginny. I thought about spelling out more clearly exactly what kind of Immortal she is, but I didn't feel that Ginny had a completely clear sense of that either. To men at the Crystal Palace, she might be a kind of love goddess; to Ginny at that time, she appeared as the World Mother in one of her many forms, and that was enough. Anyway, more soon!

Very cool chapter, loved that surprise at the end. Excited for the next chapter! :)

That last scene so so heartbreakingly written- fantastic. Beautiful. Loved it!

Oooohhh...Prudence is bothering me with her many questions and hints but lack of answers-somehow I had a feeling she would turn out to be an Immortal. But the way she comforted Ginny was really nice, and I feel like Ginny really needed that-someone to hold her. Really sweet.

I WANT TO KNOW HOW THE BONDS WORK. Grrrr...you're having so much fun not telling us, right? :)

So, absolutely excited for 106! Whoo-hoo :)

UGH WHY MUST YOU LEAVE US IN SUSPENSE LIKE THIS?!?!!

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with the reviews but i've been dutifully checking and reading.

brilliant brilliant brilliant.

omg i'm so scared that they might get intimate with astoria's body eww.

Author's Response: Why? Oh, why ask why... try Butterbeer Dry... ;) Thanks so so so much! And I can't give anything away, but PLEASE, don't worry about anything. It's all going to be okay.:)

I knew it, Narcissa was his main goal. Throughout the talk with Prudence I was getting just as frustrated as Ginny hahaha often having the same reactions. While this has confirmed my suspicions, it also has formed a dozen questions! When will Ginny be discovered and will it be as Astoria or Ginny? Will she have sex with him as Astoria to fulfill her two vows? What does Narcissa's appearance mean in this part of the story? Pure craziness but as usual you have me on the edge of my seat :)

Author's Response: Yes. Narcissa has been Draco's main goal (well, one of them) for a long, long time. She's the reason he went to the soft spaces early in the first place, before Ginny originally went to look for him a few weeks earlier. Actually, remember at the Crystal Palace a month before, when Ginny caught him thinking that he came back to London both for her and for someone else? Ginny thought he meant Astoria; he actually meant his mother. Anyway, more soon...

Regarding what I'm confused about... I don't think it's so much that there's something I'm confused about as I just don't have the whole picture. I know I just have to be patient and wait for the next chapter. And the next. And the next after that. And forever and ever until all I know is the Aniseverse and I've forgotten all my confusion because I live there.

I need to go to sleep...

Author's Response: (nods) This fic definitely fits into the mystery category. So pieces of the entire picture are unveiled, one by one.And eventually everything will be revealed.... Nighty night!
Name: GoldenFawkes reviewed Chapter 105 on Oct 17, 2011 01:31 am
So... I'm confused. But I'll come back and find out more later, right?

(Okay, so I'm tired and barely know what I'm writing. I'm just writing because I vowed to be a good reviewer. But I'm not doing a very good job am I?)

Ginny has to "consummate" in Astoria's body, huh? Groddy.

Author's Response: NONONONO! Ahem. You're being a very good reviewer. :) And Ginny doesn't HAVE to do anything. Remember, mean awful horrible things aren't going to happen here... ;)
Name: nononono reviewed Chapter 1 on Oct 16, 2011 09:05 pm
ahhhha! i just read the review below where you said that Ginny's body won't end up anywhere else! I should have done my reading first.. :)

Author's Response: It's all good. :) The Astoria-and-Ginny's-body questions are fascinating, but I knew very early on that Ginny's actual body couldn't be floating around anywhere, because Astoria or her partners in crime would do awful things with it before she got it back (in fact, there's a point a little later where Astoria taunts Ginny by telling her what she would have had Theo Nott do with Ginny's body if things had worked out that way. Ick!)
Name: nononono reviewed Chapter 104 on Oct 16, 2011 09:01 pm
So if Astoria is still Astoria and Ginny is also Astoria, where did Ginny's body go? Or is Ginny still Ginny but her body is just hibernating underneath her "Astorianess"? I'm intrigued to see where this goes. I wonder if Ginny's body will pop up on someone else who was present? (there always seems to be someone lurking around)

On another note! I feel like we may finally be getting to a place where fulfilling those vows may be possible! YAY for Ginny and Draco! Am I the only one who would be really sad though if Ginny's first time with Draco (/at all) was while she was in Astoria's body? I mean besides the fact that it's gross - would she even count as a virgin? And does that even matter?

So many questions! I look forward to seeing how you unravel it all.. I'm sure you have some grand scheme unknown to us all :)

Author's Response: Ginny's body is kind of out in the ether right now, because that's how the Cambio/Scimbare mashup works. They're two very different spells; Cambio is Dark magic, and Scimbare is a wandless little invention of Bill's based on traditional Romanian vampire magic (Bill REALLY needs to quit teaching Ginny these spells, IMHO.) They didn't blend well. Ginny's mind and personality are still there, as well as her CNS and peripheral nervous system (I did think this one out!) so her reflexes are the same, but she has Astoria's body. Ahem. PLEASE, y'all, don't worry about awful things happening... and that's all I'm going to say. Although the idea of a first time in someone else's body is sort of a fascinating concept in theory-- because Ginny still has all her own feelings and reactions, it *would* still be a first time for her, it's just that her body wouldn't feel quite the same-- awful mean things are NOT going to happen in this fic. :P More very soon!
Name: GoldenFawkes reviewed Chapter 104 on Oct 16, 2011 12:52 am
I'm confuuuuuuuuuuused.

Author's Response: It's okay. :) Lots of things will become clear in the next chapter. We'll find out... okay, I wrote out a long list and then erased it. Everyone will find out very soon! In the meantime, please ask about all confusing points, and I'll explain what I can.
