Wah! So happy to read something of yours again! I can't wait to read more, I'm literally bouncing around my Saturday morning coffee :)
Anyways, I hope you don't mind that I haven't found the time yet to start on the DDD GER project... I need to finish another project first to get my head clear, so to speak :) But I'll keep you informed before I start posting anything or something like that.
Dana

Author's Response: Thank you so much! (don't spill that coffee... ;) It's a very big project, so whenever you can do anything on it, I am thrilled and honored and very muchly happy. :) More of the sequel soon.

Welcome back, Anise. =) As you know, I'm one of your BIGGEST FANS OMG.

I'm really happy to see the Sequel in progress. This story is just too damn good. I cannot wait for the full chapter -- its like waiting for the movie premiere of the year. Or the new season of TruBlood. I just can't do it, girl!

I hope you're feeling better, and life's treating you well. RL gets to us all, but it is honestly good to see that you're doing what you still love. You are way too talented. Extremely.

Keeping you in my prayers!

Author's Response: Oh... thank you so much! (Does Happy Happy Dance. :) There will be more very soon, and it's all coming together.

Anise is back!!!!!!!
(Does a happy tribal dance).

Need I say more?

Author's Response: I want to see the tribal dance. :) Anyway, thank you!! Yes, I realized that the sequel just HAD to be written... Ginny wouldn't stop telling me what happened, and-- that van with the men with straitjackets is STILL THERE! Have to run. More later. :)

ohmygoshhhhhhhh this cookie crumb has excited me beyond ANYTHING!

And I'm thinking the wish note might be between Draco and Ginny, but that's a guess.

Totally worth the wait if we get to read the whole story, and I've been checking this site practically every day anyways, just to reread :D And the Guide is a fantastic idea, I kinda forgot what happened like 60 chapters ago, so it was a great refresher.

Best of luck to you and RL, I completely and totally sympathize- I have zero time for writing now with classes and etc.

Also, I say this often but just so you'll hear it once again: YOU ARE A FREAKING AMAZING WRITER AND THIS IS LIKE ONE OF MY FAVORITE FANFICS EVER OF ALL TIME AND YOU ARE FANTASTICALLY WONDERFUL.

As always, extremely excited for more!!!!

Author's Response: Thanks!!! :) That just might be a very good guess about the wish note. I'm working a LOT right now on building up the family business (my brother made me an offer I couldn't refuse...;) but I've been working on DDD basically every day. It's all coming together, and it will be revealed soon!

Omg LOVE! Are they going somewhere to do the deed?! Im so excited for the big reveal update!

Author's Response: It's possible that they will, soon.... very possible.... but here's a hint: the specific place Draco is referring to in *this* particular conversation isn't *that* place. But we'll see where that place is. ;)

Hi Anise! I know it's been a really long time, but I happened to look at the site and saw that you had updated and needed prayers. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of and praying for you! If you need any support, or just to talk about your fears, PLEASE let me know (I can PM you my email address). You are such an amazing author (your stories are phenomenal) and person (your work in psychology is so important, and you seem incredibly patient, compassionate, and thoughtful). Best of luck with the operation!!

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you!! I don't know *for sure* if there will be on operation yet (I'll know so much more after Wednesday), but the last doctor I talked to before I was referred to the specialists said it would probably happen... Wednesday is the scary tests and finding-out-God-only-knows-what day!! But some of the best specialists in the world are here... so at least I'll be in good hands. :) I would love to talk... and ****hugs******!

Oh, honey, don't worry about feeding us new chapters - focus on yourself! I have faith that all will be well; you are strong and able and you can overcome. xo

Author's Response: Thanks! But I think that new chapters might really help to take my mind off things and deal with them a bit... I don't know... maybe I'll even incorporate it all into a fic. :P That would be a new twist, anyway. It seems like I've been seeing a lot of weird-disorders!Dracos lately.... well, anyway. ****hugs****

First, the questions this guide raised before I forget because I always forget:
Pulpita, it makes me wonder if she is loyal to the infamous lucius? Or Astoria ?
What is it about those FoMB sketches?? No theories.
What was Draco searching along the wall for? Was he about to say my mother? My father? My heart?? Marie seems unlikely..
Ginny's vows! Wt ef! Hopefully her vow to Astoria will be cancelled out due to complications.. I think Ginny has already had sex with Draco in his past and her future so technically she did "fuck him before her"... Maybe? Lol

I also wanted to say how much I love seeing my name being personally thanks at the beginning and all readers and reviewers, nice to be appreciated!

And lastly, I wish you well and a very successful and speeding recover with no lasting/permenent damage. I hope that you will feel well and healthy when all is said and done. And I know you will be fine because you are strOng and great! The rapid Plot bunnies may have your back, and we are all rooting for yiu ;)

Author's Response: Okay-- questions are good! :) You're right-- Pulpita is loyal to *someone*, and it's not Draco (clearly, it's not Ginny, either). Other than that, I can't say. ;) Much more about the FoMB sketches coming soon. Draco's searches along the wall are very very very important. We'll find out soon what they mean, and what/who he's searching for. You're also right about Marie being... very unlikely, let's just say. ;) And Ginny's vows! She just kept making them in these chapters, didn't she? I've had a sneaky plot device in mind dealing with the Astoria-Loftia vows for quite a while.

And thanks! I love all the good wishes! (pictures plot bunnies hopping behind me as I go into OHSU...)

Luckily, I read 61-80 after your last update to the guide, so this was a nice and needed refresher to help gather my thoughts! I don't quite understand ginnys dreams, are the real? Are they premonitions? Are they possibilities?? Am I meant to understand yet? Lol! Great job as always! I can't thank you enough for a great idea like this guide, it is much needed to keep the crazy theories about rapid bunnies in order.

Author's Response: Now, I can't tell you all the secrets of Ginny's dreams... ;) But I will say that they always mean something. I would also say that they always contain *something* that's really going on-- a good example is when Ginny dreams about Draco feeling along the wall in the CP rooms, and he wipes her memory. And crazy theories are always good... (pets the plot bunnies)

This was very informative, and you touched on a few of my questions from my last review. Was there ever a part of Narcissa that loved Lucius or even liked him at one point in their relationship? In Anise-verse, was he always evil/mad? I wonder if you have ever in a review denied or confirmed that Marie IS NOT Ginny? I must look into that, because I think perhaps she will lose her virginity to young Draco a la Crystal Palace initiation somehow involving time travel and the photograph.. ehh ehh? Can't wait for the next update!

Author's Response: I'm not completely sure about Lucius/Narcissa yet, especially from her POV, but Narcissa did do everything she could to avoid being a victim after she was forced to marry him. She tried to take as much control as possible from the very first, although she couldn't always succeed-- he just had too much power for that. Some very intriguing things will eventually come out about their relationship. I *can* say that it took him time to get to this point, and that he hasn't always been this bad. I think that there were some qualities in Lucius that could have potentially gone either way, and because of his own choices, they went in the wrong way. Some of these parallel Draco's choices, and we have yet to see exactly what Draco will choose. One thing I'll say is the Lucius's unhingedness started at a VERY definite point, Draco doesn't know what it was but we'll find out eventually, and this is very important to the plot. ;)

Nope, I've never confirmed or denied that Marie = Ginny. In one way, the answer is so complicated that I'm not sure there's actually a way to even answer it with a "yes" or "no." But in another way, when the answer actually DOES come out it's going to be one of those "OMG! I get it! It's all so simple now!" moments. ;) Anyway... I'm working on Chapter 41 right now. Coming soon!

Two more:
6. What's in the second crate? When are we going to find out?

7. I can't help but think that Lucius and Astoria have some really dirty secrets.

Author's Response: 6.) (laughs evil-ly) Very Important Stuff. We find out near the very end.

7.) I REALLY can't answer that one.
Name: pitzi reviewed Chapter 5 on Sep 05, 2010 01:09 am
O.K., this guide has dramatically increased the number of questionsI have unresolved. Shall I start with the first 200? Kidding.

Some random thoughts though:

1.This elusive room. It seems to pop in different places, so does it also pop in different times too? It allways has the same interior.

2. Are we going to see George/ Hermione at some later point? Does it mean she'll turn to being normal?

3. Is Ginny going to have some working relationship with Draco before it becomes romantic? I suppose he really is going to be The Junior Undersecretary of Culture. Also it looks from that cookiechapter (37) that he'll keep his promise to get her to the Regency Ball.

4. You know, that cookie where it looks loke Ginny is Marie,in chapter 37, somehow I get the feeling something is off there. Perhaps I'm still trying to deny them being the same person, despite numerous evidence. You will laugh, but it looked like some kind of roleplay to me. (Maybe something like they did in MMoM where Draco created some scene where he really was 16 tofigure out wether he was going to force himself on Ginny if she was brought to him then.)

5. And now for another crazy idea: There are TWO MARIE- one is the realone and the other is Ginny posing as her - seeing as there are time inconsistinsies. O.k., that was mostly a joke -one Marie is quite enough!

Anyway,I'm eagerly waiting for chapter 41 and the rest!

Author's Response: Now I'm going to wonder what the other 293 questions were. ;) Anyway...

1.) Very good question. The room did appear to Draco when he was five years old and looking for Teddy, and he was able to find it occasionally as a child, although he never remembered those times as anything except vague dreams. (Pictures cute five-year-old Draco.:) So it definitely could appear about 16 years ago from the current present time of the fic, and yes, it always does look the same.

2.) It depends on what happens with them. I only write what the characters tell me, and-- (they're coming with those butterfly nets-- never mind.) Hermione is pretty bad at this point, but I don't think that she's as bad as Harry. She felt betrayed by Ron (and to be fair, he never tried to reach out to her as a friend after the breakup), and then she sort of got under Harry's spell (not literally.) But she *could* change, and I don't think that DDD's Harry is really at a point where he can do that anymore.

3.) Can't answer that one. ;) But yes, he gets her to the ball.

4.) Or that one. But I will say that the situation in the cookie you're talking about is a lot more complicated than it seems to be. We don't know why Ginny is there, what led up to her choosing to do it, what happens afterwards (besides a lot of NC-17ness-- I'll say that!), or... a lot else. ;) But it will all make sense.

i'm sorry i haven't been reviewing the chapter summaries, they certainly have been helping get my understanding of your lovely plot to a whole new level. more linear.
anyway, i wonder about that old tom guy...and the crates....come on pureblood ball!

i feel like the crux of this story rests on the timeline...ver important.... more?

Author's Response: Thanks! :) I think that this whole guide helps DDD to make more sense for sure... and we WILL see that pureblood ball. Yes, the timeline is very important. More of DDD soon!
Name: maximumtrouble10 reviewed Chapter 5 on Sep 03, 2010 05:36 pm
Wow...very interesting chapter. And thanks for the fast update! So October 31st is Halloween, and for some reason, I want to say that a BALL should happen on that day. Or maybe that's the day that Loki sends Ginny back in time (because of all the trickery "trick-or-treat"ness of the holiday). Or maybe Lucius' dastardly plan begins to actually work. Hmmm. Lots of possibilities.

For some reason, reading through this made me think that Loki has some kind of connection to the DoM, which has some kind of connection to time travel, which therefore has some kind of connection to Ginny. We know from canon that the idea of time (the egg and chick that fascinated Ginny) is being explored as well as the idea of death/other worlds (the Veil). And the DoM seems like one of those places like the art gallery and Malfoy Chambers where time and space are...flexible :) Yes? No? Maybe so?

Quick question--just to clarify, Lucius never had a relationship with Molly W like Narcissa had with Arthur? Because I was wondering why he is SO fixated on Ginny--aren't there other pureblood girls? And surely other people have offended him for him to want to have their daughters "used" in his twisted mind? Or perhaps Loki has a hand in this as well? And one other thing about Loki. He promises not to DIRECTLY interfere in Ginny's life, but he could "influence" other people so somehow Ginny and Draco are affected. Maybe?

Can't wait for next chapter!!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! :) Nope, you didn't quite hit the nail on the head with any of the Oct. 31st guesses, but they were good ones. The DoM stuff is very good too, but you KNOW that I can't confirm or deny any of that. ;) No, DDD's Lucius never had a parallel relationship with Molly (although I've seen some fics where he did.) He's always thought that she was horribly common. I think that Lucius probably saw what attracted Arthur Weasley to her (and Arthur does also care about Molly), but that didn't have anything to do with why he used Ginny. No more clues about Loki for now... ;)
Name: maximumtrouble10 reviewed Chapter 4 on Sep 03, 2010 06:27 am
Yay for more chapter summaries! My conclusions--more characters are introduced, Loki begins (or rather, begins to NOTICEABLY) meddle with Draco and Ginny, Astoria (gasp!) marries Draco, Ginny begins to mature and develop as an individual, Blaise and Luna are so cute together, evolution and Lucius are twisted, and Zenobia is awesome :)

Other thoughts--I think that Ginny's decision in chapter 40 is really significant because it also means that she is less susceptible to illusions of certain people (*Loki and Draco*). Also, it means that she is not going to justify her actions by pretending to live in a fantasy "perfect" relationship with Draco and thus accepts that she needs to take action, establish independence, and accept consequences.

I wonder who packed the crates?? Ginny herself in the past before she was obliviated? Loki? Draco? And I think for some reason that Loki has some Immortal power that's a permanent/much stronger version of Obliviate to help him with his...plans :)

Anyway, thanks for the chapters! Please update again soon!

Author's Response: I think that you're right about Chapter 40. The thing about the past several chapters is that Ginny has been trying to break out of the cycle of these uncontrollable feelings for Draco, and she hasn't really been able to do it. This is when she finally gets somewhere.
Name: maximumtrouble10 reviewed Chapter 3 on Sep 03, 2010 06:18 am
Thank you for the chapter summaries! They def help keep me less confused by the intricacies of your elaborate plot(s) and red herring bars and devious plot bunny of doom :)

So. I have a theory that Draco "locked" away his ability to love/innocence when he was "betrayed" by Marie or joined the DE, and that room (in Malfoy chambers? Like heart chambers?) is only able to be opened through a joint effort between him consciously choosing to do so and Ginny trying to do so simultaneously.

For the rest of the chapter summaries, here are my conclusions : Draco is being very schizoid, alternating between caring/milk-chocolatey and dangerous/dark chocolatey, and openly reveals his obsession for purity while Ginny is alternately captivated and enraged by him, Astoria, Hermione, and Harry are all being Jerks (with a capital J ), and portraits and photos are absolutely adorable. :)

Thanks again for chapter summaries--they look like they took a lot of time :)

Author's Response: They did take a lot of time, but they were necessary to do at this point, I think. More new stuff soon! :)
Name: maximumtrouble10 reviewed Chapter 2 on Sep 03, 2010 06:08 am
So, I saw (depressingly) that none of your most recent chapters had a review (which they undoubtedly deserve) so prepare for three reviews from me :)

With regard to the "Places", I think it's really interesting how some (like the Pureblood Regency Ball and Zenobia's art gallery and Malfoy Chambers) seem to warp time, and mostly seems to be correlated with the influence of the Immortals, so maybe Loki or some other immortal being has something to do with the events at the ball? Also, for some reason, the Crystal Palace seems like one of the other places where time and space are distorted (even though you haven't mentioned it yet :) ). Especially because it might be less difficult to carefully match pureblood wizards and their companions if the there are a lot of various companions (like from different times!!). Speaking of companions, I still believe that Ginny (as Marie) WAS Draco's companion and that created the bond between them and that's why Draco's rejection saying that he "didn't need her because she wasn't pure" came the closest to breaking the bond. Maybe?? And Loki is definitely responsible for changes in time--even the promise he made to Ginny implies that he would only not interfere in her future, but nothing about her PAST. The question is WHY does Loki have such a vested interest in Ginny and Draco? Maybe he needs their relationship to help the wizarding world "evolve" (or at least benefit himself in some way)?

I can't wait to see the contents of the crate, and for some reason, I'm really happy about the Malfoy dragon Invictus :)

On to the next chapter!!! :)

Author's Response: Thank you SO much! I love seeing that a reader really, really thought about this. (I know that other readers did too... it's just that maxtr10 wrote LONG reviews... but y'all are all loved... ;)

Anyway, I do think that putting things in categories (like Places) helps to understand how they might be linked. Sometimes, I had to walk a very thin line between making everything clear and not revealing too much. ;) I'm working on another version of the Guide that's just a LITTLE bit different (The Expanded Edition), and that one is just for me. It reveals too much.

This is a really super guide! I couldn't believe how many tidbits I had forgotten. I've got a friend who reads non-HP fanfic, and I've been wanting her to read this story, but feared it might overload her for her first time! Haha, but maybe now that there's a guide, I should rethink that! Keep up the brilliant work!

Author's Response: Thanks! :) There's just one more chapter to the guide, and it's coming very very soon. As for the convincing-the-friend thing... well, this is a long fic, clearly. BUT, it's planned out, with plot bunnies locked up every night after writing (get BACK here! grabs a bunny. they do try to escape sometimes, but they don't succeed), and it WILL be finished. :) I think it depends on if your friend likes long fics.

Does lucius know of Narcissa's love for Arthur Weasley? Is that THE reason he hates the Weasleys so much? Or would he hate them just as much if he didn't/doesn't know?

With all of this talk about looking down on mental illnesses in the Wizarding World, I can't help but wonder if Narcissa Malfoy is in one of the wards at St. Mungos.

I am a little disappointed you didn't write a little about Loki. As you call him Loki, I wonder if you are talking about the trickster god from Norse mythology or by Loki, you mean Satan??

Overall, this was very informative and understanding how the characters are motivated throughout this story, and I will definitely refer to this manuel when piecing together my next hypothesis =].

Oh, and the story was, indeed, very short and very cute! =]
