AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! This was exactly what I needed right now. Light, fun, adorable!! I loved it. Draco's awkwardness was so cute as he was gearing up to kiss her, and Ginny was just wonderful. ^_^

What a lovely scene. First, I love that you describe the ball as being a bit shabby. The spiked punch was just so typical of a workplace event. :)
I really enjoyed the way you portrayed the friendship. I got a wonderful feel for each character, and could very much sympathize with poor Ginny's feelings. However, the last lines were absolutely wonderful "Bugger the last three seconds" - brilliant. Very enjoyable, and I look forward to more.

For some reason I was enjoying her pity party :P. Oh well. She got the man so I guess that's that! Loved the countdown sequence btw. Very cute dialogue and new years one-shot as a whole!!
