I will read this again. And when I do, I will leave you a long flowing review about this and how wonderful and lovely and perfect it is. But, on the off chance that I find myself just as speechless upon a reread, I had to stop in quickly and say that I was overwhelmed by this story and that I adore it. Excellent work. Thank you for once agin proving to me how amazing this ship is. xx

I usually don't like infidelity fics, but this is so well written and thoughtout. The characters and situations are believable, expect Harry's, but I'll overlook it because it was needed to push DG together. Again, I love the words you painted and Ginny's inner thoughts. I hope we can read more fics from you very soon. Thank you for writing this!

Aww... I'm not a big fan of cheating, but I loved this story. I also still haven't gotten used to Fully Compliant stories, but this was wonderful. I find them in general to be depressing because 19 years is a lot of time to waste with someone you're not going to live out the rest of your life with. But this story somehow... I don't know. It doesn't make it ok, because that is NOT OK, but - it makes it sting less, I guess.

The timeline hopping was a little confusing. I feel like a distinct separation might help with that. Doing something like
~.~
to separate memories from current events. I also wish that the DA graffiti memory had come up between Ginny and Draco. It's not important, but I would have enjoyed a small discussion scene about it.

It seems that you don't frequent this site anymore, but should you ever see this review, know that I would love that follow up. I would obviously love to see more D/G interaction, but also Scorpius/Ginny and James, Albus, and Lily/Draco as well. There is, of course, Draco and Scorpius's integration into the Weasley clan to explore, too. All in all, I loved this story and wish there were more.

This is the definition of beautiful. So so wonderful. Hot and sexy but touching and sad at the same time. Everything that was written had a purpose, there was nothing not worth having, and although in some stories I may have an issue with Ginny charming Hermione, she did it for all the right reasons in my eyes, rather than just to get her out the way.

Just stunning xx

just read the whole thing in the last few hours, and oh byu did it leave the most delicious warm feeling inside my chest. this was the sweetest ending I've read in ages, and so grown up! normally i don't like reading post-horgwarts fic, but this one was just perfect, they were adults but never boring, Draco was just the perfect man. the most beutiful combination of soft and firm.

I have really enjoyed this story! I like how Harry and Ginny split a part and I'm glad they didn't try to work it out again. I can't wait to read more of your stories! :)

This was great! Like I said, I usually don't like affair fics, but I couldn't stop reading this one. I also really liked how you used the mirror to subtly hint at the inner state of D and G. I'm glad it concluded happily for our couple, but I also didn't want the story to end.

This was amazing. I truly loved it. I also loved you involving the mirror at the end. She sees nothing because she is truly happy the way she is, I am guessing?

You did an amazing job with this story. It is truly a gem. I loved it. You had me hooked, and I am a very picky person. Great job!

This was amazing! I loved every bit.

I love how it ends but I'm sad that it does. I love the mirror as a background character, telling its own tale from the sidelines. I like that they were able to have an amicable divorce and Ginny got on well with Scorpius. I'm sad to see it end but I hope you have more from the Promises arc to tell soon. Awesome story. Thanks so much for sharing this gem.

This was a fitting end to a beautiful story, but I'm so sad it's over. I can't wait to see what you write next! :)

This was a really emotional chapter. You did a brilliant job on it! I'm glad Ginny left. So many times she doesn't. I am so happy to see you taking a different route with this than most people do. You have kept me hanging on for sure!

That bastard! I love your writing! It's well-paced and Draco's character is perfectly mysterious and well, mature, which is hard to accompolish. I'm glad you wrote this, because this is the kind of writing I've missed.

LOVED THIS CHAPTER! Amazing job tying it all together why Harry was being so "understanding"

This is such a good and intense story. I can't wait to read the end!

Wow. I've read DG stories where Harry was cheating on Ginny before, but I've never felt how much it meant to Ginny before this story. Not betrayal, but freedom. I love that.
Name: GoldenFawkes reviewed Part VI on Mar 06, 2012 11:38 pm
Oh dear. How did Harry find out?
Name: GoldenFawkes reviewed Part V on Mar 06, 2012 11:30 pm
Oh, I love how Ginny said, "It isn't about him; it's about me." Awesome line.

What? What do you mean it's over?! ONE more?! Nuuuu! But fine, I shall treasure the last one. :')

I really love how you portrayed the way Ginny felt guilty and confused over Harry's silence about the entire affair. I think it was very realistic and it said a lot about the fic. Yes, we know that Ginny wants to finally do something for herself and follow her heart, but she also isn't completely selfish to the point where she doesn't care about her family.

It was very believable for her to wonder if he knew, if Hermione said anything, and to leave Draco completely alone during that time. It is supposed to be D/G for sure, but I'm for one am glad to see stories where it follows in this pattern. The world doesn't just melt away and consequences aren't considered just for Ginny and Draco to be together. Their mistakes have weight to them, and they must really decide what is worth what in order to be together.

Harry's cheating threw me for a twist though. That was a nice surprise you threw inside of there, and a realistic one at that too. I would have not thought that maybe Harry felt like he was suffocating under his skin too during the marriage. But it does seem so Harry that he wouldn't say anything or risk the happiness of his family. It was sad that Ginny thought they were in on the secret.

Overall, I think this is very realistic when it comes to the subject of affairs. This story is one of my favorites, and as its coming to a close, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading. =)

Ohhh, I don't want it to end, but I can't wait! I did not even think that maybe Harry was understand because he was equally guilty, but it makes so much sense. I also love Ginny's cathartic moment; it's so relatable to feel so overwhelmed by your life that you just want to burst and have a good cry. This is beautiful; I hope you write many more fics after this!
