I really love Mad-Eye, and I'm so happy to see that he made it in your fic, if not in canon! I always love a Ginny who has so much passion and anger just under the surface, too. I look forward to seeing where this goes, because I did *not* read any of the exchange fics. On that note, those who give away the plot in reviews just may be Incendio'd. SO DON'T DO IT, PLEASE... (looks at everyone) (ahem) Sorry about the capslock, but that's got to be my least favorite aspect of reading D/G exchange fics. Let's not post spoilers!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! It was a tough balance in this story to keep her angry, yet still Ginny. And Mad-Eye, well, he kind of does his own thing and wrote himself into the story. :) I'm so happy you are enjoying the story thus far. Best wishes!!

I'm not sure anymore if I left a review when I first read this story at the dgficexchange, but I loved it so much! I also voted for it, so I'm quite pleased it won the Best Supporting Character award. :)
Thank you for posting it here as well, I'm so excited about re-reading it!
Author's Response: Oh! Thank you so much for the vote! I was actually surprised by the number of nominations because I thought the story needed more work, but I had to submit it by the deadline. :) I do hope you enjoy the extra scene that I'll be adding here. :)

gidge. this story was just amazing. you TOTALLY deserved the win for best supporting character. Mad Eye was PERFECTION! i see my tips on how to get your graphic in there didn't help... rats! BUT! we can do it when you get here (JUST OVER A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Author's Response: Oh, you are just a dear! :) Thanks so much. I was going over the story before posting here, and I do have to say that I surprised myself with Mad-Eye. I'm thinking that I should write more often while I'm totally sleep-deprived. LOL!

This was one of my favorite-ist story on the ficexchange this year, and I am so glad you are posting it here! Mad-Eye rocks (thank you for resurrecting him) and is spot-on, and your passionate, hurting Ginny is just as I would picture her to be. Even though I know how the story goes and ends (I read it a few times already at the dgficexchange) I will happily squee along every bump all over again. To learn that you pulled this together relatively quickly just speaks more to your talent.
Author's Response: Aww! You are so sweet! I have been going over the story prior to posting here and I have to say that I didn't realize how good Mad-Eye was. I wanted to use him more later in the story, but I ran high on the word count. That said, since I don't have a word limit here, I've decided to expand a bit on Draco and Ginny's night together, so you have something new to look forward to. :) Thank you again for being a fan of my story.

I am incredibly excited about reading this story! It was one of the few that I didn't get to read in the exchange. It does look great so far. I like Moody's character. A lot. I can see why you won Best Minor Character.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Mad-Eye kind of wrote himself for this story. He's so powerful of a personality that he just came out almost on his own. :) When the prompt called for something with grit, he came to mind almost immediately. Next chapters will be up soon. I've decided to expand one scene a bit for the posting here that was not in the Fic Exchange version (mostly due to time and word count limits).
