This was super cute! I enjoyed reading it, and it put me in the mood for the fluff I am working on. You did a fantastic job, and I also liked the side pairings you mentioned.

I would like to point out one part:

If Harry Potter said Draco and Narcissa Malfoy weren't as bad as they seemed, then no one else would question him about it. And that's been true since the war. There are people who still see you for what you were back then, but no one blames you for it."

Up until that point she doesn't address Draco by his first name. Did you mean Lucius? Or is she talking about Draco to Draco? I was slightly confused by that one line, and I thought I'd mention it. All though it could be the meds addling my brain, so if it is, ignore me!

I also like the mistletoe bit. I am a sucker for mistletoe! The hopeful ending is too cute. Great job overall!

Yes, I intended Ginny to be talking about Draco to Draco. I see Lucius getting sentenced to Azkaban, but Harry's testimony at Draco and Narcissa's trials basically got them released with minimal punishment. Usually house arrest. (I tend to recycle this idea because I like it a lot. If Harry can name his child after Severus Snape and get his portrait reinstated in the Headmaster's office, then of course he'd be the kind of person to try to help prevent Draco and Narcissa from going to Azkaban. He would see that hesitation/desperation in them during the war and latch onto it as their "goodness." But maybe that's just me who believes that!) So here Ginny is speaking kind of generally about the situation, even though she's talking directly to the subject of the conversation.... Yeah, it's a bit confusing. I liked the way it sounded, but I think I worded the rest of the sentence a little awkwardly. -_-

Author's Response: Yay! I'm glad you saw the Christmas spirit in it! It wasn't as Christmas-y as I'd hoped it would be, but I hoped the spirit of the season would still be in there. :)
