I've just started reading this story, and I love it! Draco is fantastic, and his and Ginny's relationship is a lot of fun. I hope you continue updating, because I look forward to reading more. :)

Gahd!!!!! I enjoyed this chapter so much!!! I love how Draco stood up for Ginny, how Ginny became somewhat "conscious and cautious" of her actions, how the two became closer and closer than ever!!!!
Selwyn should die! Jk but I'm glad how the characters were portrayed, the balance of good and bad personalities are thrown out so there's something to wait and get excited for for the next chapters!!!
Hope you can update soon like this one. Thank you for making such a good story!

Next chapter is in progress, about half finished, so hopefully not too long a wait until the next update. Maybe a week or two, just depending if things pick up at work. ;)

So my absolute favorite thing about this chapter is Draco's reaction to standing up for Ginny. How he gets all cold and aloof (and yet still admits that Ginny has an effect on him, so not *really* cold or aloof). You can really see him conflicting with his blossoming feelings, and you don't even need to explain that conflict. It's so obvious without paragraphs of him agonizing over it or Ginny coming to the realization that that's what he's agonizing over. And he doesn't take out his frustration/confusion concerning his feelings on Ginny - no, instead, he admits to her, given the time to gather his thoughts and formulate his words - that she is the reason he is so unsettled. And I just love that.
And as you have probably guessed, Draco's line to Selwyn about the Weasleys (and his insistence that Selwyn use the proper title!!) is my favorite quip/one-liner in the whole chapter, only tied with Draco and Ginny's conversation on the dance floor for favorite piece of dialogue.
You can really see that Draco's lessons have paid off, too. So proud of my girl, G!! :')
I really, really enjoyed this chapter. Looking forward to the next!
Author's Response: Thank you! It's super difficult to develop other characters when you're writing first person, as you know, so I'm glad I managed to pull it off lol.
Draco's comment to Selwyn is also my favourite - who knew he had a sassy steak to rival Ginny, hah!

I cant handle how sassy Ginny is. She's really developing as a character and this chapter she seemed to come into her own. And the way she is making Draco fall for her without realising it is amazing!

His eyes darkened because he is in love with you, you muppet!! ...or at least he's on his way to.
Loved this chapter, I loved the kiss. I can't wait for more hotness from the two of them. They're characterised so wonderfully abrasive and defensive Ginny and a Draco who's trying to right his familys wrongs without losing all his pride. I'm really enjoying this, especially now that the main story is tying into their relationship now.
Loved Draco standing up for Ginny - perfectly said. Can't wait for the next chapter! xx

Yay! The kiss was so sweet and unexpected. I loved the pokemon reference. I'm curious about test with Narcissa, if she passed before did she pass after she lost her temper at the table?

Well well well, who would have thought that Draco can survive in a Weasley gathering?! Lol I am proud that the managed to keep their "act" together but I want to know what's on Draco's mind!!! I loved this chapter, especially when there is a scene where Ginny provokes Ron's temper. I hope in the next chapter, we get to see Draco's POV.
Author's Response: I haven't actually decided if I'm going to do a chapter from Draco's POV yet - I don't know why, but it feels like cheating since the whole story has been from Ginny's first person so far. I'll see what I can do though! :)

Ah this made my heart ache for her! As someone who's just gone through a break up, I know that intense feeling of longing very well! I love your version of Draco and Ginny, they hold their own well and each have such interesting characterisation.
Really enjoying this story, am waiting eagerly for the next chapter xx

When Ginny and Draco are talking to Arthur and Molly before everyone else shows up, and Ginny says that pretending to date Draco is the fastest way to get the press to stop discrediting everything she says, I suddenly got this image of what their situation could possibly look like to her parents. Like... how sly would it be of Draco to say, "Hey, if you want this favorable outcome, the only solution available to you is to date me." I mean, of course he doesn't say that exactly, but just imagine if his ONLY motivation was to get Ginny to date him, and he kinda tricks her into it. XD So I'm imagining Molly and Arthur listening to Ginny explain why they're putting on this charade, but behind Ginny's back, they're looking into the camera, The Office-style, because they suspect there's more going on. Ahahaha.
Anyway... I was giggling throughout this chapter, especially when more Weasleys rolled into the Burrow. Hermione and Draco's exchange in front of Ron, Percy's "She is not!" interjection when George says Ginny is the smartest of the lot, George insinuating that Ginny was hot for Draco back at Hogwarts, Draco and Ginny's "you're so bad" "no, you are" quips and Ron's reaction to them.... Soooo many great lines and interactions in this chapter. Even now, scanning through the chapter and writing this review, I'm trying not to smile my mouth off at work because I know I look like a loon grinning at my computer.
Fabulous job with this chapter. :D
Author's Response: That is the best visual, hahaha. I now want to write a spin off where Arthur and Molly just deal with their children getting themselves into ludicrous situations, and they're just looking at the camera like 'did we seriously bring this blight upon the earth?'

Like you, I'm not much for marriage law stories. However, it's your marriage law story and I can say that I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's a fantastic change to some of the other ones that I've tried to read, and I'm really enjoying Draco. It will be great to see how Ginny's brothers react to them being 'together'.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

Another chapter... ANOTHER CHAPTER YAY! (does the Happy Another Chapter In Less Than Twenty-One Days Dance. ;)
Favorite line:
"I’d blithely asked him if that was just an excuse to have women feel his bicep - and recommended he sack his personal trainer if that was case, due to the fact that mine were bigger – "
Most intriguing clue:
The weird incident with Ginny signing something for the child and Draco cryptically saying that the situation might not be as harmless as it looked.
Ginny is wonderfully impulsive as always. I do have a feeling that Draco might, just might, have a little something more up his sleeve than he's exactly letting on. Overall, a fun chapter that provided more opportunities for D/G interaction, and I look forward to seeing where this goes next!
