Ha! I absolutely loved this. So, so funny.

It was particularly clever to have the other team use the Patented Daydream Charm, and that's where Draco's thoughts were coming from.

Nice and steamy also. I approve! Love it.

Author's Response: Omg!! Thank you!! I love this story so much and I feel like it's underappreciated, so I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it!! Thank you for reading and reviewing! n_n

I saw that you were taking on the pirate prompt and was looking forward to reading it, expecting a fun read and you didn't disappoint. In particular, you knocked the prompt's request for saucy dialogue and pirate speak out of the park. Thought you might have taken an entirely AU approach to this, but it was fun too to find out that it was all magically-aided day dreaming on Draco's part. Haha. I wouldn't mind reading a continuation to the setup here either. ;) Great job!

Author's Response: I'm not going to lie, I went above and beyond the call of duty to research pirate speak. I was all about some pirate speak for a few days. u_u I'm glad it worked out, though, because it's pretty awkward to write, and it's hard to tell if I'm using piratey words correctly because no one talks like that anymore. I plaaaan to add at least one more part to the story, but I have to finish my fic for the DG Forum's summer challenge and finish posting my other two incomplete stories before I do that. Plus, I want to watch some Pirates of the Caribbean to get in the pirate spirit. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for reviewing. n_n

!! LOVE LOVE LOVED. This was so much fun to read-- pirate!Ginny was a delight-- and the ending was really a surprise. I hatched about a dozen different explanations for the scenario as it progressed, but I have to admit, this one never really crossed my mind. And... excuse me, didn't you used to NOT write smut?? ;) You have unexpected gifts in that direction!! Unfulfilled as the promise was in this fic, that is. ;)

Anyway. This was exactly the kind of fic I needed to read today-- you have no idea! :) I have a few ideas for a pirate banner... so more about that soon.

Author's Response: Once I got the idea that Draco would be day dreaming the whole pirate scenario, the rest just fell into place, and then, even though I didn't want to commit myself to *another* story, I couldn't NOT write it, you know? XD It's not that I necessarily didn't write smut. I usually make my sexy scenes vague or fade to black out of the fear that it will be baaad, but I'm desperately trying to get better at it, and this is probably my first baby step in the explicit smut direction. I am *attempting* to add a smut scene into my exchange fic, Double-Pointed Needles, so we'll see how that goes. ;) I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! And I'm glad it was there for you when you needed it. :) Thanks for the review!

Jess, this story was so much fun! The whole time I was reading it, I couldn't help but be confused about why Draco seemed to recognize everyone, but no one knew him. I knew, though, that in your writing there is always a reason. I thought your pirate speak was so much fun. Great story! :)

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Pam! The pirate speak was fun to research, too. I probably spent more time on that than writing. XD I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Noo, don't stop now! More of sexy Ginny nod horny Draco:)))

Author's Response: I thought about adding a second chapter from Ginny's POV about *her* fantasy, but we'll just have to see how it goes. For now, this is it, but there's always the chance for more in the future! Glad you enjoyed it. n_n

I WILL review this (hopefully tomorrow), but I have to tell you something really really funny... (okay, it seems funny to me, anyway... ) I now have a ton of pirate stuff, and I got it RIGHT BEFORE I knew you were writing the pirate prompt. Really. Not kidding. A ship, a creepy-looking helm, a treasure map, pirate clothes for Ginny, and so on. Nothing for Draco, though, so I'm kind of hoping we can dress him like a landlubber here. ;) Anyway. I'm posting the links to the challenge fics tomorrow!

Author's Response: That IS quite the coincidence! Looking forward to your review! ;)

Hahaha! This was friggin' hilarious! I was deeply entertained. I especially loved your characterisation of Draco. A little bit arrogant, a little bit coward. Perfect. And my was that quite the daydream. It got rather hot there. *fans self* Great job, Jessica! :)

Author's Response: Arrogant and cowardly are exactly what I was going for! So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks, Lia! n_n
