This is without a doubt the best novel length D/G I've ever read! I love that it integrated the Golden Trio so well and that they didn't try to baby Ginny! Thank you so much for this story, I loved every chapter.

Another great chapter! I'll probably say this so often that you'll get sick of reading it, but you really know how to write in a way that is very original and yet reads almost like a piece of lost canon. And everything that you write is believable. This is exactly the way that Ron would behave in this situation. He's a logical thinker (much more so than he usually gets credit for,) and he'd know that allowing the Slytherin Squad to be disbanded would make no sense at all. Yet he'd also be far from happy at having to work with Draco, especially at any hint that his sister was endangered by the connection. It also makes sense that Voldy would have strengthened the existing wards on the manor, and that Lucius would have included a back door way out of them because of how the Malfoys were being treated at the time. Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

YES!! I'm r and r ing again, yay! :)
The thing I admire the most about this fic is that it reads like something that really could have been an actual continuation of canon (well, if this part of it including D/G had ever actually been explored, of course. Which it wasn't. :P) So many aspects of the original canon world are just so beautifully integrated. I can't write that way at all... and actually, I never could. So I admire it a LOT. And lots more reviews coming very very soon!! :)

Aaaaawww. I already love Scorpius to bits!! That little man will surely be the kindest, bravest, smartest Slytherin. Too cute! I can only imagine the pride, joy, and love that swelled up inside Ginny and Draco while reading that letter.

This is one of the best D/G fanfics I've ever read. Thank you for this. I'm sure in time, it'll become one of them classics. Please write more! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your works in the future.

'Til then, hugs and kisses from an avid fan and reader. xoxo

I forgot to leave a review when I read this chapter last week! Oh no. Better late than never, yes?

All those awards. Merlin, don't they deserve all of them and more. I am so happy that the coming together of not only the Wizarding World but also the world of Slytherin Squad with the rest of the Wizarding World is very realistic and unrushed. It was built up tastefully that it was logical and normal for all of them to unite and burn old bridges and build new ones. I would have liked more D/G action, but hey, they got engaged and tied the knot! Yay! I'm jumping off to the epilogue now. x

I love how everything is so confusing in the midst of the battle. This is such a great story I'm so sad that it's going to end shortly, off to read the next chapter.

That was a bloody (pun intended) good final battle! Very realistic and detailed, my imagination went haywire! I was preparing myself for someone to die, but thank Merlin no one did... or at least, no one I liked. Lol. Great job as always!

Aaaww, reading the chapter end notes just made me so proud and happy for you. It is a well deserved "featured" and your growth in writing is something you will always have with you even after you finish this fic. Congrats!

Oh wow, what an epic battle! Fast and furious and so well written! I could visualize every bit of it.

Author's Response: Thank you! I was sitting here as a pile of nerves, so worried that the final battle would fall flat. Hearing that helps a lot. XD

I have been reading without reviewing, and I'm so sorry! The veritaserum was hilarious!!! And I love/hate (but mostly love) these cliffhanger endings. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. :)

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I just previously said I simply adore Patronuses and then you went ahead and made Draco and Ginny's an exact representation of who they are as individuals and as a couple. A Hippogriff! I was laughing so hard while reading that part! Plus the end notes explaining further was so enlightening and it makes total sense to me. Great writing as always! This is probably one of my fave chapters. x
Name: CrimsonQuill reviewed Chapter 21: Cold Mountain Air on Aug 23, 2015 08:47 am
Yas!! Patronuses! How I love Patronuses!! All of them sound lovely, I wish I could cast one and I wonder what form it will take.

They got the team back together! Hooray! But injuries are everywhere. Smh. No one died though, so now we're off to get everyone stitched up.

P.S. One question: On their way to the room where the prisoners were, how did they move through all the Dementors without casting a single Patronus? I thought a Patronus is the only thing that could ward off Dementors from sucking away like they always do around people.

Author's Response: Great question! And I love Patronuses too. If my Patronus weren't either a fox or a dragon, I would be very sad, lol. At some point in the books, Sirius or someone mentions that Death Eaters can't cast Patronuses -- and don't need them, because Dementors are their natural allies. It's never explained what exactly Death Eaters do to keep Dementors from preying on them, so I made my best guess, and tried to show Draco thinking back to his instructions to illustrate that guess. Hence also his reveal of his Dark Mark for good measure. Anyway, that whole rambling mess to say that I wanted to give Death Eaters some way other than Patronuses to deal with Dementors. A way that Theo and Draco would both know, even if it didn't work perfectly.

They're all working together, it's so beautiful. *sniffles* I never thought I'd actually read a good fic wherein Gryffs and Slyths can work as a unit but their overall characters are still intact. Hurry, guys!! Get Blaise back!
