A new chapter, yay!@ :) Such an interesting take on the Malfoys here as a family, and Draco's parents. Especially the way that Draco emphasizes his father is the easier to win over of the two. The truth is that we really don't know what the situation would be after the war with Narcissa, Lucius, their relationship, and the influence they'd have over any of Draco's potential love interests. In some ways, I can really see Lucius as the weaker of the two. He certainly was the less active character by DH. And it's interesting to consider that he might feel guilt over what happened to Ginny during her second year. We honestly don't know from canon what his feelings were about that after the fact, and there are a lot of possible scenarios where he did feel guilt. But Ginny obviously won both of Draco's parents over... ;) So let's see how feelings develop between those two!
Author's Response: I agree that Lucius was the weaker one in DH. Narcissa was the stronger one by far. I just sent out the next chapter to be beta'ed, so soon there will be more!

Loving the feelings they are developing for each other. Or well I hope Ginny is getting them too. Can't wait to see where this story goes.

I agree. Sometimes it takes a minute. I have trouble writing that slow burn into stories now.
The same thing I always don't like, when the chapters are short and I want more. Also, now I have a sushi craving.
Author's Response: This one was really short, and for that I'm sorry. I plan on sending the next chapter to my beta on Wed. (my off day) and not forgetting this time! So there will be more.
And i had a sushi craving when I was writing it, LOL. So there you go.

I love stories where Draco doesn't realize his feelings until they're right on top of him. I love that Ginny is getting along with the Malfoys as well. I hope her feelings are parallel to his. I hope this story isn't ending soon, not when I'm just settling in.
Author's Response: I wanted to make it realistic, and a lot of the time you don't realize you're feelings at first. It takes a minute for you to realize you like someone, and I wanted to explore that with Draco. And no worries, there's seven chapters left! Was there anything you didn't like?
